Great singing by the great chitra singh. She changed the original tune sung
by mehdi hassan and noor jahan. This tune is also very good indeed, but the
original tune had high notes sung by noor jahan. Mehdi once sang it in a
show and had to sing noor jahan's portion also. Mehdi changed the tune as
he could not sing the high notes sung by noor jahan. Any way, chitra Singh
has a very pleasant voice and is a great ghazal singer and may she live to
be a hundred and prosper.

Very touching Chitra Singh in her best this gazal has been composed
brilliantly That it is certainly superior to its previous versions the
music arrangement is also divine the flute is wonderful a pure sacred
musical experience created by Jagjit & Chitra The can only be proud that
his words reach and touch vast adunce music lovers all around the world

From outside you can't tell the pain one goes through, Chitra's killed
herself, the son died in a accident and then her husband dies. Hopefully
she has grandchild from her daughter, who help her go on. It is said Allaah
only gives the burden one can carry, it is not my place to question my Lord
and Master but how does carry something like this?
