Lyrics / Video of Song : O Mere Dil Ke Chain, Chain Aaye Mere Dil Ko Dua Kijiye
o mere, dil ke chain,
chain aae mere dil ko duaa kijiye
apanaa hi saayaa dekh ke tum jaane jahaa sharamaa gae
abhi to ye pahali mazil hai, tum to abhi se ghabaraa gae
meraa kyaa hogaa, socho to jaraa
haay aise naa aanhe bharaa kijiye
o mere dil ke chain
aapakaa aramaan aapakaa naam, meraa taraanaa aur nahi
in jhukati palako ke sivaa, dil kaa thikaanaa aur nahi
jachataa hi nahi aankho me koi
dil tumako hi chaahe to kyaa kijiye
o mere dil ke chain
yun to akelaa hi aqasar, gir ke sambhal sakataa hun mai
tum jo pakad lo haath meraa, duniyaa badal sakataa hun mai
maagaa hai tumhe duniyaa ke liye
ab kud hi sanam faisalaa kijiye
o mere dil ke chain

ShuaibCassim on Monday, May 18, 2009 KK at his very best and one of my favorites from the Legend. Life needs change and Mohd Rafi as great he was ( probably the best playback India ever had) had to give way for a voice of a new generation. We should appreciate each artiste's contribution during his/her time. From a personal point of view , Rafi and KK were the best for playback - good for all nuances. Mukesh,KJesu had great voices but very little variation. Another singer who still displays great versatality is SPB.
shaibin05 on Saturday, August 30, 2008 Both are different kind of singers. The variety that Kishoreda managed over the years that he practised was and is incomparable. There are arguably quite a few great singers which will include Nusratji along with Shri Yesudas, Rafi Saab, Mukeshji etc in the male singers category. I am sure we all have our favourites but in volumes and long term public appeal aka common man understanding Kishoreda is there.
Imrankniazi on Monday, May 25, 2009 Hey Shuaib,
Some light hearted songs from K J Yesudas are :-
"Dil ke tukde tukde" in Hindi
"Enna paarvai" and "Kannukum kannukum" in Tamil.
Check them out if you haven't heard them already. But, I agree that sad/philosophical songs were KJ's forte. A case in point is "Madhuban Khushbu deta hai".
manoharv2001 on Friday, April 24, 2009 There are romantic leading men and there are romantic leading men, but very few have taken cinematic love to legendary heights. While there might be other icons but Super-Star- Actor Rajesh Khanna after four decades, he is the ultimate true romantic legend.
tonynaso on Thursday, December 22, 2011 Beautiful simply beautiful. The song, the ambience, the lyrics, Kishore Kumar's haunting voice, Rajesh Khanna's romantic expressions and Tanuja's marvelous facial expressions says a thousand words..Priceless! Oh i miss the old hindi songs and actors..
2180605 on Thursday, August 13, 2009 Can this be anymore perfect? RD, Kishore, Rajesh Khanna and Tanjua, all at the peak of thier powers. What an age that was!!! Ethereal music and that voice of Kishoreda....heaven knows when we will get a voice like that again.
Imrankniazi on Monday, May 25, 2009 If you say that KJ Yesudas had very little variation, then obviously you haven't heard him enough.
His songs in Hindi are excellent, but the ones in Malayalam and Tamil are unparalleled. Check 'em out!
