The song is beautifully and tastefully picturized and depicts playful
romance between hisband and wife. Kishore Kumar's voice was the best during
this era - rich in tone. Excellent lyrics, excellent music, superb song.

Aaaah! Beautifull, Wese me 90's era ka born hun but aise evergreen songs
sun ker kisi se sachi muhabbat-o-ISHQ kerne ko Dil Chahta hai.. unlike aaj
kal ke songs jis se ulta frustration barhti hai youngsters mein.

You're welcome Dear Friend.. I completely agree with you, though let me
correct you, it's Vinod Mehra not Vinod Khanna.. :)

Music was excellent in the 70s. That's about it. No one had any ambitions
in life during that era. Even if they had, they will not be motivated. You
will be called a very bright young man if you could get a job with a salary
of Rs 2000 per month soon after graduation, a big achiever in those days. A
20 year old girl with a BA is a well educated girl. A postgraduate girl is
a nuisance to the family bcoz her parents have to find a better qualified
groom who most often demand big dowry. Clear?

my pleasure :-)

really? 2000 Rs in 70s ? make your data clear please. thats like 200,000 Rs
in 2012. If they had no ambitions how come you have computer, telephone?
how come these big corporate were established? oh nevermind , i am sticking
to my point, so dont bother replying

Bostonite1985 on Wednesday, August 01, 2012
I am 43 years old and you are 23. I know what I am talking about. The ambitions of the 1970s generation were restricted to getting a job and nothing more unlike the present generation. By the way, my father was earning Rs 2200 per month way back in 1978 in Chennai. His ambitions ended with a well paid job. But the present generation want more. They are not contended with a good job. They want high positions, power and status.

in those days they wre ambitious peope for sure..lot of businesses got established in 70s.u seem like u come from a middle class family so your thoughts are also limited and thats why u r writing like this...majority of people think like that...its not ur fault

I like this song. I can't say that I liked Rekha, in the movie Silsila, but
this song is beautiful. Dekha Ek Khawab is a nice song too, but not the
theme of the movie.

Kind of surprising that they demonstrate respectful love by calling each
other as "Aap", by today's terms :)
