Comments for song "Tumhre Gun Gaaye"
kishoriray on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 Fantastic. D.V. paluskar and ustad amir khan saheb... I am just speechless.
The film is wonderful, and I really want to have the full version now. Is
this version available in Calcutta?
carlosmangela on Sunday, March 02, 2008 The film was directed by my great-grandfather and it was practically the
first time in history that such legends got together on such a grand
scale. And this was an earth-shattering duet between 2 colossal giants!
Thank you materialworlds for uploading this rare video.
carlosmangela on Sunday, March 02, 2008 excellent sub-titles too!
klila16 on Wednesday, March 05, 2008 This has got to be one of the best movies I have seen in my entire life and
I don't even speak hindi!
shailendrakmishra on Friday, March 07, 2008 It is rumored that Pandit D.V.Paluskar approached Ustad Amir Khan Saheb that it is he who should sing for Baiju Bawra. Khan Sahib it seems told Panditji, that he is content being called Mia Tansen and wouldn't mind losing.
saurabh523 on Friday, March 14, 2008 THANK YOU fors posting this...I have been waiting for a long time!
androc75 on Saturday, April 26, 2008 Genius! I wonder if the two legends showed as much admiration for each
other like it was shown in the movie.
realshiznit on Sunday, May 11, 2008 I like to think so, all musicians have great respect for each other. This
is why music is the greatest tool for world peace.
rulinggal on Monday, June 02, 2008 AWESOME!!!But could sum1 PLZZZ tell me the story of Baiju Bawra in short...
ssayan3 on Saturday, June 07, 2008 Their control over sur is completely out of this world! Fantastic!
Naisarue on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 It's based on, without surprise, "Baiju Bawra", a legendary classical Indian singer, from the days of the Mughal emperor Akbar the Great. Baiju is a musician who believes Tansen, a famed musician, killed his father. The movie then shows Baiju trying to avenge his father by challenging him. Baiju also has a love interest in the movie... this is the shortest I could say! My source is wikipedia... hope this helped! I love this song so much... : )
rulinggal on Thursday, July 17, 2008 Thnx a ton!!!I am addicted to this song!;)
Naisarue on Thursday, July 17, 2008 No problem! It really is addictive, isn't it...
theresaadmirer on Sunday, August 10, 2008 Yes, I believe Amir Khansahib suggested DVP to Naushad for this song.
androc75 on Saturday, September 20, 2008 I just heard this again after months. Reminds me of this year's wimbledon
final, enhanced by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

MrShreyang on Tuesday, February 02, 2010 @music4sj Malhar ,Miyan ki malhar,Megh etc
nworb on Monday, February 22, 2010 i could be wrong but I think the raags produced an affect on the person. It
made you feel like rain or sunshine or morning. If the singer is a really
good superior singer, not just a superior singer but sang from the heart in
addition, they can do it. I have tested out the affect of malhar n ahir
bhairav on my bf who knows nothing about raags at all n never listens to
them n he correctly told me the atmosphere and the colors associated with
these raags.
nworb on Monday, February 22, 2010 Also my dad told me how back in the days they'd have public performances
where renowned singers would get together n would sing Basant raag for
example. They would surround the ppl with white tents and their singing was
soooo powerful that after a while the sheets would appear yellow to the
public. Yellow is the colour associated with Basant.
vinod krishnadas on Sunday, March 28, 2010 it is a well known fact.. that music (of certain pitch amplitude and tone)
can shatter glass... doesnt seem too far fetched then, the stories about
raag deepak..
Bushrraff on Thursday, April 01, 2010 Tansen's is singing is better than Baijus
Dilip Mirani on Sunday, April 04, 2010 Never seen so beautiful harmony+jugalbundhi Thanks a millions for sharing
Pardeep Singh on Monday, April 26, 2010 Wow thats awosome
mrg69191 on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 @uptothe They still do it now, In my ashram when Pandit Jasraj or Maniram
used to sing a black would only over the ashram come and make it rain. And
they could even attract deer that would otherwise never show their presence
to Humans. And I have seen it with my eyes.
athar077 on Thursday, May 20, 2010 would you please stop with the paranormal stories, our classical sung by the greats doesn't need unproven undocumented stories to lend credibility to our great contribution to the world , perfectly put by nworb , these raags if sung properly will create these effects in the listener. There is a Million dollar award for anyone who can perform something considered paranormal , the award has been available since 1971 and noone has yet claimed it
MrShreyang on Monday, June 07, 2010 ahaaaaa Tan sen's tanpura is of southern style :P
shail3232 on Wednesday, June 09, 2010 great song from great movie
shail3232 on Wednesday, June 09, 2010 great song by bade gulam ali saab ,from a great film...
appearancecause on Thursday, June 10, 2010 @athar077 Surely semingly paranormal outwarldy claims are maximum number of times a trick , Although real paranormal activity which takes in our lives due to natural law is evident.Example we know we have soul coz there is a living atma for sure otherwise there would be no difference between dead and living.
raminder44 on Friday, June 11, 2010 Gaye jayo Gaye jayo Prabhu ke Gun Gaye jayo.

raniisc14 on Saturday, June 19, 2010 @mrg69191 worst of canard I came across over the u tube
vdoslave87 on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 mesmerising song.. :) Can someone please tell me who sings which part? I
mean which real-life singer sings for which character?
dachandman on Wednesday, August 04, 2010 @vdoslave87 the man who sings first is meant to be baiju bawra and is voiced by the brilliant Pandit D.V. Paluskar whereas Miyan Tansen ji is sung by the illustrious Ustad Amir Khan Sahib.
Jagdish Prasad on Saturday, August 21, 2010 @BhuvaneshB isndia indianfilm must enrich their music with such eminent
classicalsingers
Satya P Nigam on Monday, August 23, 2010 Pt D V Paluskar a stalwart from Gwalior Gharana for Baiju Bawara and Ustad
Amir Khan of Kirana/Indore (as he was later known for) Gharana for Tansen.
vdoslave87 on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 @dachandman thanks :)
vdoslave87 on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 @spnigam25 thanks :)
mrg69191 on Friday, September 10, 2010 @raniisc14 exactly. but of-course you can't believe it. Someone like you
does not need to believe it. you can live in your own boundaries and learn
never to cross them. I delights me to know that I can truly call myself one
of the rare ones to see miracles like the ones i mentioned. Dhanyavaad.
