gurujupiter on Monday, July 06, 2009 Lata, Incarnation of Sraswati , Tujhe Salaam. Such a melodious voice. We are fortunate to have been on this earth in the same era that you were blessed by the Almighty to be on this Earth. What a Song. Lyrics, musci and rendition. Beyond Imagination. Such was the time in Indian Film History that even such like songs could not make it to the movie that was finally released.
Prabhakar Kamath on Wednesday, August 05, 2009 same here...seen the movie...luks like the song's been deleted from the
movie Milan.
paurakhi on Sunday, August 09, 2009 Sure you can feel the pain in the whole song. Lyric, voice and music all
make you cry. Golden era of Indian Filmi Music. God bless Lata Ji.
dss3270 on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 Credits where credits are due. Yes, Lata's rendition is superb. However, the words were written by Anand Bakshi and music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal duo.
Sanjeev Sharma on Thursday, November 19, 2009 this is one mumber for which ican thank GOD for giving me life in this age

nickysohi13 on Wednesday, January 06, 2010 really very touchy song...
iseeking on Thursday, April 01, 2010 In the Telugu original of Milan, this song was retained, and became very popular, even though it is a sad song.
Ram Rao on Saturday, April 10, 2010 @iseeking Can you post the original Telugu song please?
iseeking on Saturday, April 10, 2010 @ramraosaheb
Will do. Please give me a little time. Meanwhile you may look up the song under "Maanu maakunu kanu" or "manu makunu.." in the film "Mooga manasulu". What is interesting was, until I saw this discussion came up in rmim, I had not looked for it in youtube. When I looked for other excellent songs (ALL of them, from the Telugu version) fall under that category) I did not find them.
Madhulika Mittal on Saturday, September 04, 2010 i love this song very much and tat is nice para "kastiyon ke liye ye
bhanwar bhi to hai..". Khoobsurat song and hit

RealMusicKing on Thursday, December 23, 2010 A very beautiful melody. The best from the film Milan. This was either not filmed or if filmed, taken out of the movie.
Shashi Ranjan on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 This song is very heart touching. I salute Lata Didi for their melodious
voice. She is real "Ratna of India:
Naresh Kinger on Friday, February 18, 2011 I think that LATA MANGESHKAR is not a human being. She is GODESS of Music.
If she is not godess, how the godess would have been? and from where such
voice is coming? only from godess throat...
nishhalwa on Sunday, June 05, 2011 no match to this voice, - out of this world..
goswamiirani on Sunday, August 14, 2011 She is the incarnation of the Goddess Saraswati Herself!!!!!!..and can never be an ordinary human soul !!!!
She's the 8th wonder of the world!!!!
This song has always been my most loved numbers from the film Milan, but maybe this song was not filmed in the movie.and God knows why!! This is the best song of the movie, anyday...
Uma Balasubramanian on Friday, August 26, 2011 Such pathos! What lyrics! Brings tears in my eyes. Long Live Lataji!

Chandrakant Trivedi on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 Very nice song of Lataji...It is my favorite..I was in S.S.C.in 1966-well
playback by Lataji-meaningful song, best lyrist of all antaras-Unfortunately
it is removed from movie Milan...Salute to Lataji, real Bharat-ratna...for
this sad and still popular song..
Satish Thawani on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 (Tagore said The Happiest songs are the Sad songs) Well said Rakesh ji..

Keshav Sharma on Saturday, June 09, 2012 "Hein sab se madhur wo geet jinhein hum dard ke sur mein gaate hein
..."
tomsharma on Friday, August 10, 2012 How true!It is a such an incredible song...I wonder why was this song removed from the movie?I would have done anything to keep this heart wrenching but wonderful song in the film at any cost..!
It is one of the best of Anand Bakshi ji...as I once remarked to you Rakeshji that he is the most unappreciated lyricist of Hindi film industry!!His songs still give solace to the tormented souls!
Shamnad Sirajudeen on Friday, September 14, 2012 Aaj dil pe koi zor chalta nahi .. Muskuraane lage they magar roh pade.../
Rakesh Anand Bakshi on Sunday, September 16, 2012 If the audience recognizes my words while watching the film song, I have
failed; as my words are supposed to originate and belong to the characters
in that story, that film. I suggested deletion of my song from Milan, a day
after the Premier, after i saw the film as my words did not gel with the
character singing. This song, “Aaj dil pe koi zor chalta nahin”, I wrote as
a poetry, and had not kept the characters in mind, i regret that always. -
anand bakshi.

tomsharma on Sunday, September 16, 2012 I always wondered why this song was deleted from the film.now that you have thrown some light on the reason for it.it makes sense. But again, where have these values, this dedication, this eye for detail, the pursuit of excellence gone?It proves one more time,if proof was needed at all, what an amazing man he was apart from a genius poet!!
amarendrasrivastava on Monday, September 24, 2012 what was the film's name? amarendrasrivastva.
tansen58 on Tuesday, October 02, 2012 For deletion of any song from the film is depend upon the decision of Music
director entirely. You can see the song Ankhiyo se rahne de of Bobby &
Chain see hamko kabhi apne jine na diya of pran jaye per vachan na jaye .
However all these songs were very much populated not only that time but
till now .
rumahale on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 Sad and beautiful song. Also sad to find that it was deleted from the
movie. Thank you for this rare song.

words and beautiful, amazing voice of Lata ji.
Narender Soni on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 Amazed to know that you heard this mesmerizing song of Lata Ji for the
first time. If such is the case then I would like to share one more
beautiful song of Lataji with you. Find the link - "Hum hain
matay-e-koocha, uthati hai har nigah kareedaar ki trah" from film "Dastak".
All the gazals/songs of DASTAK are mind blowing.
Chandrakant Trivedi on Monday, April 29, 2013 It was Milan starred by Sunil Dutt and Nutan..nice movie...
Chandrakant Trivedi on Monday, April 29, 2013 This is my favorite song of Milan (1966),play-backed by Lataji, picurized
on Nutanji..The meaning of its all antaraes will bring tears in your eyes
and will touch to your heart.Lataji is real a Bharat-Ratna and Goddess of
Music and SaraswatiI salute lataji for her melodious voice.Unfortunately
this song is removed from movie Milan This song is hindi version of Telugu
song "Maanu maakunu kanu / Manu makunu" from telugu film " Mooga
Manasulu"..It is also popular song.

Ajay Purohit on Wednesday, October 02, 2013 Has a Madan Mohan feel ! Superb old time melody - childhood memories !
Jitendra Kothari on Sunday, November 24, 2013 Good lord, what an amazingly beautiful, heart-wrenching, classic song this
is. Listening to this, if one can fight the tears, one either doesn't know
the language or one has no heart...Khurram saab, upload ke liye bahut bahut
shukriyaa...
Subhash Kothari on Wednesday, April 02, 2014 This one is among the best sad songs sung by Lataji. I recollect this one
when I was just in college and watched this movie. This song was cut off
from the movie. I like this song at that time and also as on today. It
reminds me other two songs of Lataji one from Isq per Zor Nahin and other
one from Bobby.
Sahibzada Raaz Thakur on Thursday, June 12, 2014 What a melodious heart touching tune by LaxmiPyaare in 'Milan' . Cant
u'stand why such a beautiful song was kept out of the movie.- Ek khoobsurat
dourr ek bahot pyaara samaj iss dourr mae namudaar huaa tha..bhot jaldi
kaal ke gart mae sab gumm hote chale gaye. Ab na woh logg rahe na wah soch.
Hum tou inhi kinhi geeto'n mae uneh dhunte rehte hain, ...yaad kar le'te
hain.
