Comments for song "Chale Chalo, Koi Humse Jit Na Pave"
politicophobia on Saturday, April 03, 2010 @kaliyuta If we are going to be snobs, I think Raj Kapoor beats Amitabh. He even had a more memorable affair with Nargis than Amitabh did with Rekha. :P
politicophobia on Saturday, April 03, 2010 @Annette1m I agree about incorrect advice. I recommend Dil Se, it has great music. If you are looking for depth Water is also good.
BENGIFAGOL on Sunday, April 04, 2010 what other movies like this are there? - only film i can think of is swades - a wonderful movie hope there's more like this in the future
NYCMediaqueen on Friday, April 09, 2010 Slumdog is an insult to india. Nothing could be more insulting.
The west version of India needs to get expanded.
Lagaan is honoring the spirit, the honor, resilience and the beauty of INDIA. So is Mangal P and the Legend of Bhagat Singh. These are the few of the spirit of the INDIA! ALso how about showing the power, the luxury , the intellect, the true beauty of what india is /was about.
shaduly on Monday, April 26, 2010 nice song..by rahman
illinigrl1 on Friday, April 30, 2010 @BENGIFAGOL - If you liked this movie, definitely check out Mother India. It's a 1957 Bollywood movie with Nargis and it also dealt with Indian villagers' struggle to pay Lagaan but goes more in depth about the starvation and utter poverty many villager's faced). It was also nominated for an oscar and nearly won, but unfortunately didn't. I tried posting a direct link to the movie but youtube didn't let me
madskittlez1122 on Friday, April 30, 2010 @NYCMediaqueen
NOTHING? Really?
hussainhssn on Monday, May 10, 2010 @NYCMediaqueen if the truth is insulting then you shouldn't have watched it, because you're living behind a curtain of lies.
slavesRus01 on Saturday, May 15, 2010 @AcctManagment

Ravelinator on Saturday, September 04, 2010 @lafleurquicache i agree but you cant compare it because lagaan is a pure bollywood movie about the culture
slumdog millionaire is a british film and it isnt targeting the same audience.

driedpizza on Sunday, October 24, 2010 what does this song mean though. I like the more traditional Indian films but they don't all come in English (I'm not Indian, I just love Indian movies)..i like the songs with subtitles
sanjaybehera on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 This song means that may we win and they lose
PredsGrrl on Friday, October 29, 2010 @123freedom And, if what you've said is true, you've just stooped to their level. -_- I'd like to express my disgust at that comment, but I'd rather say this: it really saddens me that we're letting this awesome international music ignite us, rather than unite us. You're too busy comparing the "good points" of your culture to the "bad points" of theirs to appreciate this song... Has Lagaan taught you anything at all?
pokechat89789780 on Sunday, October 31, 2010 THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE!! LONG LIVE INDIA!!!

mmannify on Thursday, January 13, 2011 My 2 year old asks to watch this most days. Maybe one day she'll learn Hindi.
Oh yeah, and I always watch it if I have an exam or something.
mmannify on Friday, January 14, 2011 @cphater1 Well, when I was about 8, my burning desire was to learn an Asian language. If someone had taught me I would have learned very happily. I hope that if my children have such interests I will further them.
clackutooey on Monday, January 24, 2011 @123freedom get your facts straight- it was near kandahar, afghanistan where the tragedy took place. shamsia and atifa were attacked by acid thrown by the Taliban. it just underscores the sad plight of women in such fundamentalist, backward places. as for marrying trees, lol, that might be true.
