Gaby Poulain on Wednesday, November 07, 2007 Very poetic and touching...finally I've met someone who appreciates the
oldest of oldies...

babusubs123 on Thursday, January 03, 2008 Very true. I totally agree with you. Mukesh at his best.
mutinyvizier on Sunday, February 03, 2008 man, mukesh's voice just tears into my heart and tears it apart...
jaswinder ahluwalia on Saturday, April 26, 2008 notice how similiar Mukesh 's early style is to that of KL Saigal who was
top gun then.it was later that Mukesh developed his own style..Right Any
comment?
najm saqib on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 legendry voice, what a upload.keep up the great work.
madhumass on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 I agree.. not only KLS, it was common for singers (even male) to be kinda
nasal in those days. This trend is also seen with Talat Mehmood and among
females with Shamshad begum and the earlier songs by Lata mangeshkar..
madhavimithu on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 words cannot express my thanks to you for uploading this song
U.S. Dubey on Thursday, May 15, 2008 Right. I have read somewhere that Mukesh practised on this song for six
months in order to bring back the voice of KL Saigal after Saigal's death.
Thus he brought this immortal and timeless song. Thanks Musique4ever for
posting it.
ghamejigar on Monday, May 19, 2008 Glad to see these old masterpieces being shared by music lovers alike. Hope
to see the society gradually slide toward these quality type tunes than
what we have today! Thankls for the upload
isaac moses on Friday, June 20, 2008 Thank you for sharing this treasured Mukesh song/videoclip
girish613 on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 Not only Mukesh but Kishore Kumar also tried to copy K. L. Saigal's voice in their earlier days. Khemchand Prakash (music director for Film Mahal) advised Mukesh not to copy Saigal, but to develop his own style if he wants to become a good singer. Mukesh followed his advice and did become a great singer
klsrafi4ever on Friday, September 26, 2008 Thanks for posting this rare and beautiful number
Aman Dayani on Monday, September 29, 2008 mukesh sahab ki kya baat hai janab.
amipiyu on Monday, November 03, 2008 As per wikipedia on the internet, this song was recorded in 1945. K L
Saigal died in Jan 1947. It has also been mentioned that once Saigal quoted
that he was surprised that he could not remember when he actually recorded
this song, such was the voice quality of the legendary singer, MUKESH!
mandalsabansie on Monday, December 08, 2008 I love this old song so much and I don't know how to thank you. Thank you
very very much for sharing it with all of us. Thanks a lot.
Dilip Kapasi on Monday, December 29, 2008 Can you believe this is Motilal in the movie. Who is the actress?
bancilss on Sunday, January 04, 2009 Mukesh was only 16 when he recorded this song!
viraj040276 on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 Wow! what the collection you have? Thanks for provide us that type of golden songs.
Arghya Dutta on Friday, March 13, 2009 Khemchandra Prakash forcefully insisted Kishore to sing "Marne Ki duayein
Kyun Mangoon" like a clone of saigal,,,,, I think that was the first and
last time Kishore sounded like a "clone" of Saigal, otherwise he was always
"influenced" by Saigal throughout his career
koolsamier on Saturday, March 21, 2009 aweummm. mann. nothin better than this!!
rk10101 on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 No it is Munavvar Sultana!

63-64, now the time has come again to sing and upload this. Will do.
Surely. Thanks for reminding. Thanks of upload. Regards
mastergm on Saturday, May 09, 2009 Did you know this is sung by Mukesh and not K L Sehgal. Mukesh was asked to
sing in Sehgal's voice before he resumed singing with his voice (he also
tried acting but did not succeed! )
arsenal4everNever on Sunday, May 10, 2009 are you serious?you sereneded her with..dil jalta hai to jalne de,and she agreed to marry you?anyway, hope you two are very happy healthy.
Mausiqar on Thursday, June 04, 2009 kyun pardah nasheen ka aashiq hai yun naam-e-wafa berbaad na ker
rakeshabha on Sunday, June 07, 2009 Mukesh started his career trying to immitate K.L. Saigal, but then Moti Lal, the great actor, who introduced Mukesh to Bollywood insised that Mukesh find his own voice rather than immitating someone else. The rest is history.
PALLUSHEKHAR on Saturday, July 04, 2009 i am inordant fan of mukesh the legend. i am only 36 but i was really helped by this legendary singers voice and songs to comeout of all odds. really a great source of inspiration. by the way my father was not born by the time this song was recorded.
mohendra minocha on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 this is the first filmy song by Mukesh Chand Mathur , the man from old
dilli, studied at school at mandir marg delhi
kbgrofaz on Saturday, August 01, 2009 Mukesh was indeed a great singer. Too bad he died rather young at the age of about 53. Good music and singers like Mukesh and others, find their admirers regardless of their ages. I am a bit older than you (by about 18 years), and I like even older songs than this and older singers like K.L. Saigal, Khursheed Bano, Shamshad Begum, Kanan Devi, Zohra Bai ete. Mostly because I watched my father listening to these singers. I am glad you appriciate the talent and art that Mukesh represented.
alibayhas on Wednesday, November 04, 2009 what a song and Mukesh did well,
One of the immortal song sung by Mukesh.
Abhijit Pendse on Thursday, December 24, 2009 what is the meaning of bismil ko aur bismil na banaa?
ualmostwise on Friday, December 25, 2009 @barcfrdpp it means dont kill anyone who is already dead {Bismil means a
bird that is being sacrificed}
Bushrraff on Friday, January 01, 2010 bismil means I think is billi (Cat)
Making a cat out of a cat, literally!
bemydesert on Thursday, January 07, 2010 bismil is a person or an animal half way wounded and in blood not some
billi cat as our friend says. Look at the root of the word it comes from
arabic/farsi word. I has been a long time for me not speaking farsi anymore
but I remember bismel refers to any living thing bleeding badly. You can
understand that from the contents of the poem as well when it say masoom
nazar ke teer chala , bismil ko aur bismel banaa.
bemydesert on Thursday, January 07, 2010 bismil means half way in blood, any living thing being in that condition is
called bismel. masoom nazar ke teer will result in that condition
Shalin Bhatt on Friday, January 08, 2010 @barcfrdpp - bismil can mean either a sacrificial offering [like an animal]
or a lover [figurative sense]. he says "maasoom nazar ke teer chalaa,
bismil ko bismil aur banaa". i don't understand the exact meaning of that
2nd part, but the 1st is 'shooting arrows out of those innocent-looking
eyes', so perhaps...sacrificing that which is to be sacrificed? or wounding
even more people who yearn for those eyes? just a guess.
haamidkhan2009 on Monday, January 11, 2010 Bismil mens " The wounded one means .the poet is alrady had enjeries and do not add more pain
araniees on Thursday, January 14, 2010 As told by Manohar Mahajan ( Radio Cylon ) It is Mothilall ( who brought mukhesh from delhi) told to remove this song if it fails , and was released , later it was a history. To day No body knows the names of those who objected-Arani Apparao-Hyd(A.P.)
Mano kolahi on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 Besmil means the beheaded ghobani ship goat or chickens when ther are to be
cut have to receive bismellah and so simply it is called bismel so when you
are already hurt so deep he asks do not make more or what else you can add
to my pains.
eisobki66 on Sunday, February 28, 2010 SPEECHLESS...
malangi13 on Friday, March 05, 2010 Bismil = Wounded in Urdu. I dont know what it would mean in Hindi. But it is no cat. When a hunter injurs a game- the injured bird is bismil as it fights for life.
shad1236 on Saturday, March 06, 2010 bismil means wounded.
'Bismil of aur bismil na bana' means that please do not cause more wounds on the wounded.
dubbooman on Saturday, March 27, 2010 sounds almost exactly like saigal sahib. amazing!
