in 2009. He played it too. Whole packed house had given a standing ovation

Mr.Biju.Before rec. RD asked toget a big tumbler( Balti in Hindi ) filled
with wate, Biju immersed the S.S. Thali nearly 3/4 th. in water, then asked
to start 1-2-3 then as beating progressed the Thali was taken out
rythemically,( and actually he demonstrated in fron of packed house,) whole
orchestra sequentially played.and it went on as we know. I sincerely feel I
and our generation was very lucky.
