made to look on screen. Shine on Shammi Kapoor. Your legacy can never die.
foreveryoung62 on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 there can never be another shammi kapoor...unmatched signature
style...RIP...
Sholay48 on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 Rafi only half died in 1980 because Shammi was alive. Now that Shammi dies
the rest of Rafi dies with him. Very sad that they have left us. There is
an overall feeling of emptiness. I feel very sore inside. I pray that they
both rest in peace and God bless them both. They have done more than their
share here. Many thanks to them.

Akbar Raja on Sunday, August 28, 2011 Wow...evergreen
Delhiidude on Sunday, September 04, 2011 This doesnt sound like Lata. Lata is way better than this. Lata is divine, out of this world, it doesnt come through here, n I doubt its Lata who sang this.
Maybe its another made a later copy or something.
In the below video Lata sings this song live, and it sounds much different (much better I think) more like the real Lata, than this.

song, which is as fresh as it was 50 years ago. I like both the versons -
Mohd. Rafi and Lata.

Rafi saab's. Her high pitch seems to go in drain when she goes " chahe

sgdebe on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 One of my favorite songs by lata ji. Thanks
ramaraksha01 on Saturday, December 08, 2012 Also, listening to this song - i don't think the singer is Lata - doesn't
sound like her - can anyone confirm?
ramaraksha01 on Saturday, December 08, 2012 Raf's voice is a bit effiminate - no wonder he is outsinging the female
singers, lol
msavale1 on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 The female version is sung by Lata Mangeshkar.
Ranjith Abeysinghe on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 I am a Buddhist from Sri Lanka (no religion or Country factor) and I
prefer Rafi's version. its full of emotion, voice quality and flawless.
Lata's version could be made better if she had sung at lower scale. I
presume, songs of those days were made to suit Rafi's range and having Rafi
in mind. Even Duets were made like that.Take the title song of Dil Tera
Deewana. I dont say Lata was a lesser singer. In my opinion Rafi had
something unique, an edge over other singers.
Ranjith Abeysinghe on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 In my view, Rafi had possessed an extraordinary range, flexibility, and
also versatility. and therefore, Music Directors were much free to create
tunes when they composed songs meant for Rafi., For those obvious reasons,
most of the songs he outshines his co singers(male or female). It is
understandable why Lata and Asha , both preferred Kishore.
Parmod Rajput on Thursday, December 13, 2012 very nice song.
madmax on Monday, December 31, 2012 Msavale your review speaks about your class just like your name. You are
disgrace to even be allowed to comment here.
soqq zrty on Sunday, January 27, 2013 Lata is far better than Rafi. Her voice is far better than Rafi's
