Madhuri's character in this situation is completely torn and ripped apart with sorrow. So she does sth desperate and shocking. Look at anil kapoor's shocking face. Why? b/c he has never seen madhuri like this before. So desperate and completely unaware of her image. If everybody understood that then comments on her look would be irrelevant.
