rohini1710 on Monday, December 28, 2009 the singer is probably kavita krishnamurthy
rohini1710 on Monday, December 28, 2009 apparently her dress probably including all her jewellery weighed 30 kgs so its quite an achievement that she manages to move at all!
rohini1710 on Monday, December 28, 2009 it means "killed me"..the woman in the song is falling in love with the man who collapses in the end. but the guy loves someone else who has been married off, at one point when he looks out and sees a marriage procession it reminds him of his lost love. he resorts to dance girls and alcohol as a way to forget his love and doesnt really want to be in this place.
daldreamer on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 @rohini1710 Yes it it kavita krishnamurthy

pankaj1711 on Sunday, January 31, 2010 Very BALI song,Madhuri's expressions are awesome..
mailtobee on Sunday, January 31, 2010 what a graceful dance and expression... madhuri is the best dancer bollywood will ever have..
helpmenow1 on Monday, February 01, 2010 It was originally a book, and there should be a summery of the movie version on wikipedia
helpmenow1 on Monday, February 01, 2010 This is more recent, but it's just as sad and still shows the family vs. family drama, though where in Romeo and Juliet the plot is mostly about the family feud, in Devdas, the plot is more about the result of the the two families.
Bijastudent on Friday, February 05, 2010 how sweet-so lovely it just can be made in india:)
sajjadkhansa on Tuesday, February 09, 2010 shah Rukh ki baat hi khuch aur hai
thaluvachira on Friday, February 12, 2010 can anyone pls upload this movie fully with english subtitles please.
madjanssen on Monday, February 15, 2010 I would suggest that you just buy the movie. It's too darn long & would have to be taken out in so many diff parts that I don't think it'd be too enjoyable anymore.
Sunbellchen on Monday, February 15, 2010 0:45 ihre brüste sehen voll komisch aus
MrLuigi1998 on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 this seem's to be a sad song but the mehndi and bangles and indian dress is so pretty and beautiful and i dont know how madhuri dances but she is a bollywood qween and princes i think she is singing in hindi is that right.
shilpimahajan1978 on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 No its not a sad song! Its abt getting crushed in love by someone's mere existence in the same place as Y! And yes, its in Hindi and Madhuri is one of the best dancers in Bollywood.
maisyk87 on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 one of the best actress and dancer.
ruba765 on Saturday, February 20, 2010 ohmg! thats EXACTLY what i was thinking. she did an AWESOME job in this song. actually in this whole movie she ROCKED!
ZassouGita on Saturday, February 20, 2010 Well that's kinda sad, isn't it?
Or maybe I'm just weird...
ZassouGita on Saturday, February 20, 2010 @drakendrones she has expericence, that's why ^_~
shahidluvrx0x on Sunday, February 21, 2010 i luv the different sides of bollywood...modern..desi..classical
drakendrones on Sunday, February 21, 2010 @ZassouGita: No its becoz she is talented n born with it. Experience does not suffice ;-)
ZassouGita on Sunday, February 21, 2010 @drakendrones Well, she's been an actress for a loooong time...and she wasn't that good in the beginning : that's a fact. If you compare her acting in Devdas with the one in, for example, Raja, she is much better now. That's experience!
herFLYness79 on Monday, February 22, 2010 she and her voice are so beautiful..
CinderellaDarling on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 Wow. This fascinates me.
Weird coming from a white person? Maybe its because I like shiny things. 8-o lol
But seriously - meticulous dancing, lovely singer, interesting song.
amry222 on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 well queengia..india is a mix of cultures arabs n whites also migrated their long tym back so its not dt dey only do belly dance..
ilk3babygirl on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 Madhuri is the best! The beauty, the facial expressions, the acting, the voice, this woman doesn't lack anything. She's so graceful. The true Queen. Madhuri was the real deal. So classic.
rascolrupa on Saturday, February 27, 2010 This is a centuries old classical dance form called Mujra a Kathak dance .Girls were trained as courtesans to entertain in the Royal court from a young age, they had to dance, compose poetry and music and mime and improvise to get into royal favour.Mathuri is a trained Kathac Dancer, she sings well but here Kavita Krishmurthy gives her the voice, she does the interpreting, watch the moment that she tells the noble to get lost with her eyes and hands.and take his gold anklets with him.
MistyAngel1990 on Sunday, February 28, 2010 I think they did a really good job with the music.
I never watched the original Devdas, but my mom told me that it was better than the new one.
leonsjoy on Monday, March 01, 2010 what language is she singing in?? btw i luv this song <3
carriemaharaj on Monday, March 01, 2010 maar daala means it killed me. it is hindi.
blackwhimsy on Wednesday, March 03, 2010 I've recently fallen in love with Bollywood movies. They're so amazing,so moving,so funny,a visual feast. but I get sick of western critics putting their own spin on them. Could someone be kind and recommend a good book that outlines the art of the Bollywood film, the origins of the traditional dances, the symbolism, the styles of acting etc? I'd love to know more about all the cultural forces that make them such works of art and so different from western films.
Peace from Australia.
