nickkohri on Sunday, March 08, 2009 You are correct! Not in the movie. And also not in the CD release of the Mere Sanam songs!! The LP has this song.
knishad on Thursday, March 12, 2009 The song is very very beautiful. The voilin solo is great. But yes, the song was picturised in the movie. I had seen the film when I was a kid and I still remember the song. It is dream song. Bishwajeet dreams that he is singing this song with Asha Parekh. The dream like qualiy of the song is unmistakable.
Madhu Nair on Friday, March 13, 2009 dear knishad, thanks for the comments on the song hammne to dil ko
aapke...and also for the info that this song was even picturised.may be
like the song main pyar ka rahi hoon from the movie ek musafir ek hasina'

shinDCS on Saturday, March 21, 2009 I have been searching for this song for a long time but could not remember which film it was from...it's just a classic. Thanks for putting it up.
rk10101 on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 This song was never in the movie I have seen this film at least for 5 times
for its wonderful songs in differenyt places and years!
jasiddiqi on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 I saw the film "mere sanam" in Uganda in 1965. This song was most
definitely included. But, I never saw it on any video version after that.
It is a great song. Asha is just out of this world, literally, dreamlike.
joylowie Shute on Monday, April 13, 2009 I also saw the movie in the theatre when it was first released and am very
sure this beautiful song was in it. They deleted it in the video version
which is pretty sad.
unnamed78105 on Thursday, April 23, 2009 jab dil se humne jod liya dil ka silsila, aage hai kya naseeb mein jaane

shooniya on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 a masterly composition by a "maverick" composer - OPN.
V. Siddhartha on Saturday, July 04, 2009 So refreshingly different from the usual thrill-giving songs of the
OPN-Rafi-Asha combination. Most creations of the trio were either lively
street songs , party songs or cabaret songs. This one and a few more like
it were fit for the finest traditional mehfils. Many thanks,kpm5866.
S Qasim Hasan Zaidi on Sunday, July 05, 2009 Revival of college days' memories. This song is a demonstration of highest
skills of Rafi, Asha and OPN trio. Most beautiful upload. Thanks kpm5886

sung in the movie Poonam Ki Raat (1965). I am not sure either way. Some one
please clairfy
Diliwala1 on Monday, May 17, 2010 If I am not mistaken , the music Director of movie Poonam Ki Raat was Salil Chowdhry. his line of composition is entirely different and quit melodious , only one thing common, both are great Music Director and they use their hit melodies with slight variation in other songs and movies.
Diliwala1 on Monday, May 17, 2010 If I am not mistaken the song writer was H.S Bihari - Most of O.P.Nayyar song was written by H.S.Bihari.
Rashmin Tamhne on Sunday, July 04, 2010 This song is just wonderful.. It is a lyrical expression of mutual yearning
of two souls, their absolute trust in each other, and their longing to
become one! The pace of the song is perfect... its words deeply
meaningful... use of instrumental music so enhancing of the impact.and
the voices of Asha-Rafi just divine! Thank you for giving such a treat,
kpm5886!
sinhaharendra on Friday, July 16, 2010 @j11994466s No. It is a purely OP Naiyyar piece and Poonam KiRaat was not a Naiyyar film.
Sanjay Sinha on Sunday, September 05, 2010 a very lovely song.
SeaBreezeCenter on Sunday, October 03, 2010 This is OP Nayyar composition written by Majrooh Sultanpuri for film Mere
Sanam. This information is taken from oroginal EMI Compact Disc which
should be authentic.
45sudhir on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 ...another dreamy gem from op asha and rafi ...and what lovely use of a single violinist and the dreamy beats which go with it
45sudhir on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 ..another dreamy gem from OP,ASHA and RAFI...and what soulful use of a solo violin and dreamy beats which go with it.
kgs4ever1 on Sunday, November 14, 2010 About 6 months ago my friend has send the comments & mentioning H.S Behari
It is S.H Behari ( Shamshul Huda Behari) This song is however by Majrooh Sultanpuri and after this film Op & Majrooh had a tiff & and never worked together

Kay Cee on Saturday, February 26, 2011 Very few compositions rise up to this level of romance: its a tribute to
the talents of all involved: Majrooh/OP/Asha/Rafi and all those wonderful
instrumentalists, especially that violin guy. Very beautiful duet indeed.
So pleasing an upload. Thanks a million.
shamspuri on Saturday, March 05, 2011 If only there were a video available for viewing of this haunting and dreamlike melody of a song...so effervescent and soothing...

Asha.
Bharat Gul on Sunday, February 26, 2012 Rich lyrics and a dreamy melody whose sweetness and rhythm should go very
well with a slow romantic dance in a garden of dew-laden roses. Thanks for
a stellar upload, Madhu Sudan Ji.
Suman Singh on Monday, April 23, 2012 I love this song very much..truly truly romantic and melodious.

Renukaprasad Tumkurbasappa on Thursday, August 16, 2012 Rythm, solo violin and jaaz in the backgournd is the speciality of the
Nayyar Saab. I think no other musich director has that vision and composing
foresight like him. Alaas! we lost the the great soul. My it rest in peace
