tubulator01 on Thursday, August 11, 2011 @ uploader, The song is of course great and v v popular, but how come you
have omitted the name of Mahendra Kapoor who has also contributed to the
song in a great way? His name could have been included in either the title
of the vdo or "uploaders information"

Elegy17 on Monday, September 05, 2011 Wonderful movie. one of indiana cinema masterpieces
guroeskrima on Tuesday, September 06, 2011 Good background color scheme in the set. Classic old style. This was one of
first motion pictures I saw as a very young kid. It was shown by Mr. and
Mrs. Kazmi at their home late at night on 16 mm projector to expatriate
community. One thing to note, the storyline is very similar to the US film
From Here to Eternity with Burt Lancaster. The love triangle is so intense,
if I was one of the two guys here I would not have the attention span to
love the girl so intensely as these two guys.
guroeskrima on Tuesday, September 06, 2011 When we were young we thought Loving a girl would be like this. For me, now
working as a tech in film industry, I see so many girls and they are all
like guys, and none of the expected softness and heart-ache in this age.
The age of innocence was in high school and in our younger days when we had
time in the 60s/70s. Khalid Khan

Someone plz kindly translate this beautiful song into English. I was captivated by the song way back after watching the movie Sangam even tho i didn't kno a single word of it. Hehehehe. Taj @Kuala Lumpur
liverpoolisbest1001 on Saturday, March 10, 2012 What a song! Mukesh, Shankar Jaikishan and Raj Kapoor at their best.
moon75866 on Saturday, March 10, 2012 Not enough can be said about the genius we all know as Raj Kapoor! Not only
was he a great actor/producer/director,but he also had an impeccable sense
of music;Him & Shankar-Jaikishen would sit together for days and no song
would be finalized till the showman felt the ultimate tune which also
had2go with the situation in the movie. From Awara to Joker, there are
hundreds of classic tunes they made. Will such a team ever exist again ?I
wish,but it seems highly unlikely.Immortal & Irreplaceable
moon75866 on Saturday, March 10, 2012 @tajud47 well,translating a song,Hindi in particular,is a tough job.the
actual meaning doesn't come out as it's meant to be.I'll give it a shot
anyway:"every heart that will love, will sing a song. the lunatic/crazy
person will stand out(be recognized) among the millions" pretty much what
they're saying is that love is the ultimate feeling in life which makes you
a better person as well.this movie was probably the first great 'triangle
lovestory' that took Indian cinema to a whole new level.
Murugan Pitchumani on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 @moon75866 I totally agree with you dost

liverpoolisbest1001 on Thursday, March 15, 2012 @moon75866 No one can replace Shankar Jaikishan. There is not a person like
S-J who could make such beautiful songs.
best1212121 on Thursday, March 22, 2012 This song is perfect song to show the intensity of Shankar Jaikishans
orchestra. In second music you can actually hear 2 string sections playing
together but in the singing the split and becaume 2to3 harmonic backgrounds
that go with the violins that are playing the actual tune of the song. In
seventies this was missing only very few songs from RD burman or SD burman
later had some similarities to this orchestra. After Shankar Jaikishans
last movie sanyasi the harmonic violins went extinct.
mrbig1431 on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 Never understand what they r singing about but hv been repeating listening
to these hindi songs especially from the movie Sangam since. I was a young
boy during the 60's
Bani Malhotra on Sunday, April 01, 2012 can anyone guess the song of sangam sung by a foreignor ,on screen by Raj
Kapoor on a boat,i am unable to see on U TUBE,if anyone has guessed it
right, would love to see it on U TUBE
peterklus on Saturday, April 07, 2012 Namitaji, the song you want is "O Mehbooba. O Mehbooba" sung by Mukesh, if
I am correct in interpreting what you said. I believe the song is set at a
lake in Switzerland (or the Italian Alps sopmewhere near Lago Como) and Raj
Kapoor is in a small boat, pursuing Vyjayantimala and Rajendra Kumar who
are in another boat. If you type in those first words I gave above, you
should be able to locate the song without any trouble. Good luck!

Would really appreciate if you go to the follwoing video and fast-forward to minute 17:24 and listen for about 35 seconds and see if you can identify this music? I have lots of sweet memories from that song and believe that it is Indian. Here is the link for the video:
