beautiful sharmila with the heavenly kashmir on the background creating a
majestic setting for this film

sonny19xx on Sunday, August 03, 2008
This is an immortal romantic classic.. the first few lines of the song
where Shammi and Sharmila break into an extempore jig stands out as one of
the best dance sequences ever of Bollywood. For all the bone breaking dance
movements that they do in Bolywood nowadays , none can equal the grace and
splendour of this one. OPN Asha and Rafi gem. Thanks Ajit45555

Excellent representation of Raag Pahadi.. Such a beautiful
composition... O P Nayyar Sahab was a genius

paglanadu on Sunday, September 28, 2008
wonderful lyrics with a wonderful tune and equally well rendered by both Asha and Rafi

tapobrataha on Sunday, September 28, 2008
A flawless blend of melody and rhythm. This is where, I guess, our
(Eastern) compositions score over their's (Western).

omg.really!!!

knpradeep77 on Friday, December 05, 2008
for a movie song, i would give at least 50% credit to the musician (music
director/composer), 25% to the singer, 15% to lyrics (I know lot will
disagree here) and only the rest for the actors, movie director,
cinematographer, location etc.etc.

moodgard on Friday, January 02, 2009
Superb song. Asha at her finest, and Rafi, well he is King! As for the
video/acting, this isn't as good as other Kashmir Ki Kali songs, IMO.

If you look at the pool today, there is too much variety in terms of music,
singing talent. Things happen very fast now, hence we loose track of songs
(yes lyrics in most of the songs are big let down) In the bygone era's the
movies were paced well (in terms of releases) hence the music ran for a
very long time. but no denial the talent we then had was OUTSTANDING..
nobody can replace rafi saab. shammi's dancing style and sharmila's
innocence - attributes like this are definitely extinct.

youngatheart123 on Friday, May 22, 2009
we used to sing this song during our college days.:).wat lyrics and
music.shammi kapoor and rafi songs - they were our anthems.nothing of
today can replace them..they r timeless:)

sonny19xx on Friday, June 12, 2009
Fantastic no words .. Shammi-Sharmila absolutely blow you away. The dance
to the music of OPN ranks as one of the greatest dances in the history of
Bollywood. Rafi- Asha sing this very well. THANKS rajshri

Can U imagine if this was in QH it would have blown the roof.

nawabshaukat on Thursday, August 27, 2009
Can u believe that it is been composed in 14 MATRAZ called CHANCHAL but
apperently it doesnt looks to be that was the ART which O P NAYAR and his
contemporaries was having and if RAFE SAAB AND ASHA JI was selected for
those melodies than result is before u 03332604292

Rafi and Asha are fantastic. great song. OPN no less . The dance movements
from 01:51 to 02:25 by Shammi and Sharmila are in my opinion, rank as one
of the greatest dance postures in the history of Bollywood cinema. Thanks

The romance is so beautiful, innocent & tender. I wish we had more such
songs in recent movies instead of the sleazy, suggestive ones.

Padmini Ck on Friday, June 11, 2010
The magic is in Mohammad Rafi And Asha Bhonsle's singing!!!
