Comments for song "Jab Dip Jale Aanaa, Jab Shaam Dhale Aanaa"
Deepti Unny on Wednesday, February 02, 2011 What a beautiful voice! Unfortunately bollywood has not recognised
potential of this great singer. Even Rafi stood up and applauded in
Shanmukhanda Hall in mumbai when Yesudas sang a song from Brahmachari
originally sung by Rafi.Rajashree, you can only bring him back!

great that YouTube gives us the chance to go back and remember those great
times and great memories.

song is sung by suresh wadkar :)
pistachioguy on Monday, May 23, 2011 Yesudas makes this difficult song appear absurdly simple - it is one the
most difficult Hindi film songs ever - to put it very bluntly neither
Kishore (whom I adore and worship) nor Rafi could have sung it half as
well. Only Manna Dey would have had the technique and vocal quality to sing
a difficult song like this keeping perfect sur and control.
ThePeaceonearth12 on Saturday, May 28, 2011 One of my favorite Singers Yesoodaas he is the best male singer in India after Muhammed Rafi. I Love him so much.
stanz146 on Saturday, June 11, 2011 @shanu.this song was sung by the legend yesudas...no doubt abt it..
LTF85199 on Saturday, June 11, 2011 Only Yeshudas can bring this kind of a soul to a song.
mumtazrizvi2003 on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 Correct I agree with LTF85199 mates comments. Yesudas ji is a real best singer. This song oh. I can not explain my feelings...
pistachioguy on Saturday, July 16, 2011 @akghosh2004 - I see your point - it's a bit like not being able to imagine
anyone else sing Manna Dey's 'Sur Na Saje' or Kishore's 'Kuch to log' or
Mukesh's 'Dost Dost na Raha', Rafi's 'Khoya Khoya Chand', or Saigal's 'Gham
diye Mustaqil" etc. The melody and the voice are together imprinted upon us
that we have trouble distinguishing between them, or separating one from
the other.
musicslive on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 lovely song... where have such songs disappeared?

Sumita Sharma on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 Such me ..kahan gaye aise sur aur shayari...? Chitchor has all the
richness of lyrics & rythem...
mohithkvarma on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 Yesudasji is really one of the greatest singers India has seen till date, but I don't think (and I doubt if he himself would for that matter) that this is a tough one considering he has rendered tougher ones in malayalam where the pitch variation is too frequent - if you really want to experience that, just listen "Rama Katha Gaanalayam" from the movie Bharatham in malayalam, any song from the movie Sargam - malayalam again; "Pazham tamizh pattizhayum" from film Manichitrathazhu..cant list all..
Chiman Jagani on Thursday, October 20, 2011 Album: Chitchor Year: 1976 Track: Jab Deep Jale Aana Singer: Yesudas

CJ on Saturday, October 29, 2011 People who dislike this are clearly jealous of Yesudas' wonderful voice and
are being oblivious too such great music. Apparently they are lacking taste
in music.
Sagnik Chakraborty on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 @pistachioguy: i disagree the point about Manna Dey. For all his vocal
technique, he never really had much timbre in his voice. Goes for his
Bengali songs as well. He himself has admitted in several interviews that
he'd realised this pretty early in his career that he'd be nowhere near
Hemant Kumar and the likes in vocal quality and stresses on vocal technique
for that very reason. Yesudas? Perfection personified in terms of both
vocal technique & quality. Incredibly so.
Mukesh Kumar on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 @pistachioguy do u know a little bit about voices dear..???
purbamrc on Tuesday, December 06, 2011 I agree with you comment on Yeshudas and Manna. sur / control and over and above the output intended for 'this song'
purbamrc on Tuesday, December 06, 2011 that's the humbility of Manna - which was taught as part to be great, unlike these days
inewbeginnings on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 @kalinvstr yes it is...but i dont know i am going by the books...i wonder
how people can tell
ACleverMonkey on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 @inewbeginnings play it on key board, ni re ga, sharp ma, pa dha ni sa
agqtzb on Monday, December 26, 2011 Ravindra Jain though born blind made such a lovely song.. we can listen to such kinda songs only in India..Nowhere on earth you can find such genre songs. Thanks for uploading...
Johny Joseph on Sunday, January 08, 2012 Superb. this is in his 30's. Pls watch Yesudas singing this song at the age
of 72. search for "Jab deep jale aana Yesudas Live"..
nimin p on Wednesday, February 08, 2012 @mmjuyalutube i admire your words about the great legend K.J Yesudas. He is
singing past 5 decades with much dedication and passion for the music. He
has the Divine voice and his voice able to match for any form of music . I
am a Keralite grown up by hearing all kind of d music and legendary singers
of world like Mohd. Rafi, Kishore kumar , Elvis, M.J ,S.P.B, Nusrat Fateh
Ali khan and many popular artists . I would like to say that Yesudas is the
world best singer and he will remain as the same.
ssbadwaik on Sunday, March 04, 2012 best of best song
OGOLDful on Friday, March 30, 2012 A wonderfully intonned...just superb...!!!
APeeKay on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 Yesudas has definitely sung this one beautifully, but I am sure Rafi could
have sung it as well or possibly even better. For a classically trained
singer, this song is not that difficult. This song is also a good fit for
someone like Suresh Wadkar.
Suresh Shenoy on Thursday, May 31, 2012 This song wonderful song brings me memories of my first love: with W...We
met and loved in similar surroundings in the hills. The same "sanket
milan", I remember the place where we met first...The light forest and the
quiet river that flowed..Our meeting behind the village temple and
sometimes her little sister came with her (like the boy in the film). But
fate had it that we were not to be united. 33 years have passed now. I
don't know where she is now. Religions separated us.
paulsonvincent on Friday, June 01, 2012 This is one of the most beautiful song ever composed..with heavenly
rendition.. Good music can make u cry!!!!!!!
Chanchal Goyal on Saturday, June 02, 2012 I love this song. how are dislikes even possible for this song! my
favourite song. thanks for uploading.
Roger V on Sunday, July 22, 2012 To those who claim that Rafi or Kishore could’ve sung this as well as
Yesudas - Yes, Rafi could’ve sung this song. Yes, Kishore could’ve sung it.
And yes, I can sing it too. In the shower. The point made so eloquently by
pistachioguy is that, the classical training, voice and style of Yesudas
take this song to heights not attainable by either of the afore-mentioned
singers. That doesn’t make them any less great, it just emphasizes the
status of Yesudas among the pantheon of greatest singers.
Kalyan Kumar on Wednesday, August 01, 2012 This is perhaps one of the best songs that I have heard in my life.
Jayadev singer on Friday, August 03, 2012 really touched reading ur story

Babu Sathyanarayana on Friday, November 02, 2012 Fabulous. Yesudas brings the quality and sophistication of classical music
to popular music. Most enjoyable melody.
