moti1389 on Friday, March 13, 2009 Well I don't agree that Jagjit Singh lacks spontaneous improvisation.I have myself seen him performing in two concerts & the way he improvises is mesmerizing. He has the unique ability to sing compositions in a different manner everytime.Contd..
moti1389 on Friday, March 13, 2009 ..As far as this composition is concerned,it's an immaculate rendition.I
don't know where you're finding him struggling. If you're referring to his
movements then it is a style to retain breath so that notes can be rendered
perfectly.Pandit Jasraj also uses.Contd..
moti1389 on Friday, March 13, 2009 ..this style. Also, the range of His singing is evident in this
composition,then I don't know what else variety you're expecting.
m0han2003 on Sunday, March 15, 2009 Mesmerising rendition of this popular ghazal. Jagjit's version is the most
passionate compared to other masters who sang this song.., look for timely
knockout moments at 2:18-2:22 and 6:43-6:52, and the complete transormation
in play on word 'Jogi' from 4:21 for 2 minutes.. Well done Jagjit, very
well done.. you've improvised on this ghazal.. the actual recording version
( non-concert ) sounds even better..
candyland2007 on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 timely knock out moments... haha yeah..
candyland2007 on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 bravo.. all abt team work.. i' m giving u.. now u take it now i'll give it back to you... yeah... wah.. wonderful
kabaye01 on Wednesday, April 01, 2009 my god, this is sound from heaven or what?
amanemoro on Saturday, April 04, 2009 Brilliant ! the vocals are no doubts amazing, but the guitar, violin ,tabla...Master class !
pappukumar420 on Tuesday, April 07, 2009 killed the original song...too much improvisation...lost track completely...
reshad on Wednesday, April 08, 2009 very nice song, superb table and fioling beat.
pappukumar420 on Monday, April 20, 2009 just because its jagjit singh it doesn't mean it always has to be
good...the original was good...but here he overdid some portions.and
lost actual track of a song...its my opinion anyways..and to me this is not
good music
moti1389 on Monday, April 20, 2009 If it's Jagjit Singh's, music automatically gets good.
yaajaam d on Friday, June 12, 2009 Can we call it his style & not say that he screwed them? He never claimed
to be a classical singer. I do agree most people like gazals with tabla and
harmonium, violin etc. He goes about his gazals differently. But that does
not mean that he's bad at what he does. Maybe you disagree. But you can't
deny that he does do a lot of justice to music. Now, if only you appreciate
music, then don't compare 2 things. I do listen to classical music and
gazal from many artist. No bias here!
tutul1001 on Friday, July 31, 2009 Both the singers(Gulam Ali & Jagjit Singh) are not comparable at all, they are really at their extreem in their presentation which is so heavenly .

Imran Khan on Thursday, September 17, 2009 Tune almost the same as Gulam Ali sang. But variation and rendition plus
musical instruments used to create slight difference, which impair the ears
to remember its original version sang by Gulam Ali! Of course . the poet
Ibne-Insah will have double Royalties..
yasiryahu on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 jagjit is the best singer of ghazal .
