just a piece of info in case u guys dont know...try to hear the song which comes before this one.."mo se chhal kiye jaaye"...these two songs r based on same raga..the previous one on a faster note and this one on a slow note...but the ragas r the same...
this is the beauty of "shashtriya" music...which i am sad to say is getting a seat back in this hip hopkinda environment...

bambaikababu2 on Thursday, January 28, 2010

AsharGreens on Friday, June 25, 2010
I would repeat a fan's word that i read over here that the entire indian music industry cant create the melody that Padam Shri Mohammed Rafi saab created in the first 3-5 words "Kya Se Kya Ho Gaya.!"

rishabhgupta26 on Tuesday, June 29, 2010
For me, SD Burman is the best Music Director till date Hindi Film Industry has got... His songs really enthrall you by their sheer melody ...

dnavalusa on Wednesday, June 08, 2011
Sonu Nigam should try rendering this song in his own style. Then it'd be lovely comparing the two of them.

gengarjetty on Thursday, August 25, 2011
:

no he was so great that he knew that he had to chose a superior singer like rafi rather than a constipated goat like some other singer.

Sangye Bum on Thursday, September 01, 2011
if Mohamed rafi was lived long as kishore kumar he would have atleast gotten 10 filmfare award

ankurdubey1000 on Monday, September 26, 2011

Now Dev ji is passes away from us, We allways missing him.

faha1ali on Tuesday, December 06, 2011
Rafi saab and dev saab aren't in this world but we'll always remember them in their songs and films

alizedd on Monday, December 12, 2011
Mohammed Rafi Sahib & Dev Anand Ji rest in peace !!!!
World will never see the likes of you ever again !!!!

DrYagneshCTrivedi on Wednesday, February 15, 2012
Raagaa of this song is Jhinjhoti and "Mose Chhal..." song is also based on the same Raagaa. What a great combination of Mohammad Rafi, Dev Anand, Shailendra and Sachin Dev Burman. This is an immortal song. It is a reminder of good old days of 1965-66 when I was in high school.

Pooja Philip on Tuesday, February 28, 2012
Truest words..put in bestest expressions!! love this masterpiece... :)

moon75866 on Tuesday, April 03, 2012
Rafi/Dev songs are a treasure and probably the best thing that ever happened to the Indian cinema. R.I.P LeGenDs.BTW, the arguments I read downstairs really cracked me up. You're musically ignorant if you can't feel the beauty of Rafi's voice. You clowns are just like the ones who say Led Zeppelin is over-rated.

KC30983 on Wednesday, April 25, 2012
This is one of Rafi saab's most heart wrenching songs. His voice is sublime in this song. He purs his all into it and you can really feel it. Anyone would get goosebumps listening to this song - the voice, the music, the lyrics - they all fit so well together!

OnlyRafi9 on Friday, April 27, 2012
Read arguments but S.D.Burman,Dev Anand used to prefer Kishor Kumar more than any one with a wrong BELIEF that Kishor's voice suited more on Dev Anand. In film"Guide"most of the songs were given to Rafi Saab by Burman Da & Dev Anand because of expressions and capabilities of changing of Vocal tones required to situation & scene.Only Rafi Saab and no one could do so in perfection & won't find any singer like him again for years to come.Sonu Nigam knows how much difficult its to change vocal tone.

ShemarooEnt on Monday, May 21, 2012
hmmm i knw.. very nice song

KhalidAsgharRadioPak on Friday, June 08, 2012
Indeed Dev Anand was a actor-producer with his individual concept. He is EVERLASTING.(09 June 2012)

Classic will always remain classic

kumar piyush on Wednesday, July 04, 2012
this song is so close to reality

andy4hillman on Sunday, July 08, 2012
Unnecessary debate on rafi some people just do not want to enjoy. This classic was great from the alphabet A, IT WAS A +. The writer RK NARAYAN, VIJAY ANAND, RAFI SAHEB, SD BURMAN, SHAILENDRA and of course DEV SAHEB.

rajatsharma78 on Wednesday, July 25, 2012
