Saffronwing1 on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 This song which is just what it is, if any of today's singer could sing it enough
to stir such an emotion then there is something worth talking about today's music and its related people else what ever is called music is sick and sad.pity the people of today's generation for such a third degree torture they undergo.

imranzaidi6 on Saturday, January 12, 2013 Grieved deeply over the death of Nizamuddin Auliya of Delhi, Amir Khusro
who was his spiritual disciple, and renowned for his excellence in poetry
and music, wrote a lamenting piece of poetry with painful heart & tearful
eyes. Fascinated by the the poignancy of this poetry, Naushad asked Shakeel
to write lyrics, keeping the same passionate spirit, in Urdu/Hindi for
Shabab film. (contd..)
imranzaidi6 on Saturday, January 12, 2013 (contd..) With classic excellence, and as truly creative artists as they
were, Naushad composed its composition, and Lata Ji sang this song. And
Nutan, who excels in expressing herself on screen, acted superbly. This
immortal song goes far deeper than that. It establishes an inexplicable
connection with the heart! My all time favorite. Thanks Malale Ji, for this
masterpiece upload!!

rumahale on Thursday, January 17, 2013 I had read sometime ago about Naushad's love for a composition from Amir
Khusro; and, in appreciation to that he had this song written by Shakeel
Badayuni. You have given now a detailed and interesting account about the
song proper, besides other critical assessment. It is highly encouraging.
Thank you.

Knakhua Knakhua on Tuesday, July 14, 2015
