sabbirsa on Sunday, March 13, 2011 @SareeTime no she is not. she cannot even come close to madhuri. just watch the unforgettable tour when madhuri and aish danced together. madhuri is 100x better than her. she is very stiff and her shoulders move way too rapidly thereby lacking fluidity. but yes she is the only one from her generation who knows classical dancing is a trained dancer (Bharatnatyam).

I have seen Saroj Khan doing songs like "channe ke khet" or "mera piya ghar aaya" on the sets of Nachle Ve and anyone who watches saroj do it will wonder are these the same winning steps that madhuri had done because madhuri has made those steps 100x better than what saroj had originally perceived. now thats what I call a superior performer. anyone who is a trained dancer will understand that

are special in their own ways..they are both good.Ive not watched all of
madhuri's performances but i think she is great in any songs i saw her
in.As for aish..i guess u either love her or u hate her. and i..happen to

I mean yes her taals are in place but her expressions does not leave people wanting for more which is not the same with madhuri. madhuri has this ability to completely assimilate into the music thereby portraying each and every lyrics with 100% accuracy and precision and she is so fluid sth which is absolutely essential for kathak.

directors ask her to do it because most of the Indian girls don't have
