from the vcd ! :) you are right about this song being a turning point in
the movie ! this character played by waheeda ji was also a turning point in
her life as i heard in one of her interviews . she started getting offers
of the roles of a mother although she is looking par excellence in the
whole movie !

main naukri kar raha tha! :-) An interesting bit of info...Waheedaji was
given an option of choosing two stories by Rajinder Singh Bedi to be made
into a movie...'Phagun' and 'Ek Chadar Maili si'. Perhaps she found the
protagonist in 'Ek chadar...' a bit 'daring'. We'll never know. She safely
chose 'Phagun'. And it goes without saying, she shone like a diamond in it!

my life , so i never knew what went behind the scenes although i was an
avid radio listener and always wanted to know the name of the music
director and the lyricist when i liked a song . you are right of course in
mentioning that waheeda ji shone like a diamond in this movie . i
particularly liked her best in this song ! thanks once again !
