Sreekanth J on Friday, November 25, 2011 @abhi2991985 how true... just dont have the audience for such melodious
music anymore. Rightly said... Old is Gold
rameshthakrar on Monday, November 28, 2011 The songs from this marvellous film made me believe Rahul Dev Burman is not a composer of Western type tunes.
bhabanissa on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 Wah. Raina beeti jae sham na aaye. .speaks everything

sanjayd411 on Sunday, March 18, 2012 A song like this one didn't get much recognition in India, while a bogus
number like "Jai Ho" wins an oscar for A R Rahman!!! I doubt any of today's
music directors anywhere in the world can create the kind of songs R D
Burman has created in Amar Prem.
Rohit90901 on Sunday, March 18, 2012 Truly the art to create this kind of magic has become extinct in this era
of digital audio...
Ronakk Patel on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 this song is remarkable in bollywood music history as a classical gem
..hats off R.D n Lata
drmgrl11 on Saturday, April 07, 2012 makes me want to cry...the music and the acting together are fantastic
Mohan Panicker on Thursday, April 19, 2012 does any one have the meanings to these words, they sound so beautiful
bleachfan19911 on Sunday, May 13, 2012 Nice meaningful song.Good music.Night is passing by but shyam has not yet
come .Shyam means dark coloured or Krishna.Thanks.
ACleverMonkey on Saturday, May 19, 2012 I hear raag lalit
varrrr on Thursday, May 24, 2012 Amar Prem did not miss any awards. Awards missed Amar Prem songs. These
songs will forever remain in music lover's hearts. The fact that these
songs didn't get any awards just shows the injustice that was done to RD. I
mean just 3 filmfare awards, one of which was after death ? It wasn't even
nominated that year. Shame!
Kalpita Kubal on Thursday, June 14, 2012 speechless...what a voice , expression..great.
sanamo86 on Sunday, June 17, 2012 Ive watched all 3 & while i agree Said was gr8 in EHT, the other films
performancs are mild compared to Aamir's greats
wanderer boy on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 raina beeti jaaye..(night is passing)shayam na aaye(here its means ma
beloved) neendaya na aaye(feeling sleepless) he forget the promise to come
tonight which he made in night

LuckyStar on Monday, July 23, 2012 Hereafter , All the nights will pass by without his arrival! :(
TheIrondead on Monday, July 23, 2012 I AM LISTENING THIS SONG IN 2012, IT WILL BE LISTENED AFTER MY DEATH AND MY
GRAND CHILD`S DEATH AND ONWARD
pmohanram on Friday, August 10, 2012 This is Lata at her mature finest. In her early songs, her voice was
wonderful but shrill and maybe a bit immature. Here it is full bodied.
Later on, she lost her voice. The early 70s were her best in my opinion.
Her classical lineage really shows through. This song and this movie always
gives me chills. RIP Rajesh Khanna.
cherishgp on Monday, August 20, 2012 Agree with you. The first filmfare award that RD got was in 1983 for Masoom
and then Sanam Teri Kasam 1984 and finally posthumously for 1942 Love
story. But his best work went unrecognized for awards - Teesri Manzil,
Padosan, Kati Patang, Amar Prem, Aandhi, Jawani Diwani, Hare Rama Hare
Krishna, Mere Jeevan Saathi, Namak Haraam, Yaadon ki baraat, Hum kisise Kam
Nahin. SOngs that are evergreen 3 decades later did not get the nod from
the awards committee
Kairathmann on Thursday, September 06, 2012 that's irony
ps2421 on Thursday, September 13, 2012 Filmfare isbogus he got our love tht's enough fr him! Great R.D!

merchant and brother are also good you seems partly right too sidharth the
argumenter
Tapesh Majumdar on Sunday, December 16, 2012 Love this song ------- even after 30 odd years ! perhaps getting old --
yeah grey hairs there ! oh Love this song
Siddhartha Das on Friday, December 21, 2012 A legendary song
Subhayu Mukherjee on Saturday, December 22, 2012 After listening to songs of RD during his early years and then after death
of Dada Burman, I have no doubt that all these songs have been actually
composed by Dada Burman.. Please stop giving the credit for these majestic
creations to RD. It would be a discredit to these songs
Sushma Sawant on Saturday, December 29, 2012 superb classic song of lata,R D . no match to lataji's voice... her
alaap in the beginning in her crystal clear voice is just fabulous...
Sayan Chatterjee on Friday, January 04, 2013 R.D.Burman used to assist his father during his earlier years...his father
didnt assisted him...so dont make his compositions his father's
compositions...his father was great...nd pancham was also a worthy son of a
worth father...and yes RDB himself had the calibre to compose such
milestone songs.
Moumita Nag on Monday, February 11, 2013 Just love this song
Amandeep Singh on Saturday, February 16, 2013 You supply those things that are in demand but that golden era is now gone
when people were interested in gems like these.

jayanta chatterjee on Thursday, March 21, 2013 I wouldn't reckon that the musical quality of Amar Prem needs an award to
felicitate it's greatness. Music lovers over generations have rewarded it
with their ardent admiration. The Filmfare awards in 1971 may have
reflected general Bollywood trends to honour the legends of S D Barman
(Talaash) and Mukesh and Shankar Jaikishan(Pehchaan) before welcoming new
world greats like R D Burman and Kishore Kumar. No harm done if we
contextualise.the awards.
