were in love with each other but the boatman is so innocent that he does
not know that it was love. He was too possessive of the girl and feels
terribly upset when she was in distress of widow ship. The song is so
beautifull picturised that thid song will always be remembered as one of
the most memorable and sad song. Mukesh sang this song with soul and his
voice is so empowering
