riazud on Friday, September 24, 2010 LATA AT HER BEST, AND SO IS RAKHI... WHAT DID WE DO TO DESERVE THEM?
PARAG MITRA on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Great singing by Lata Mangeshkar, great presence of Amitabh Bachchan and
Rakhee, all said and done its a great musical (exploratory) composition by
R.D.Burman - the charm of the music is intact even after aprox 30 years.
Isn't it 'timeless'?
Devendra Singh on Saturday, January 08, 2011 great melody
Sudha Vishwanath on Friday, March 18, 2011 This doesn't sound exactly like the version I have heard often on the radio
over the years!
vim on Friday, April 22, 2011 @sudhavishwanath yes u are right, and i also have the other version with
me, i never heard this version. i will tell you why. back then, HMV didnt
have the rights for all music, so they could not record the exact original.
So, they had to alter a little bit, and have the song re-recorded by the
singers and musicians. not only this, but a LOT of songs are different than
the one in the movie. likewise, sometimes they just used to cut a verse or
the interlude to avoid the copyright infringement.
Atanu Raychaudhuri on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 No, there are two released versions of the song. Both were recorded on the
LP disc by HMV. The one that got aired on radio mostly is the longer
version, which Rakhee sings in the radio station. There is no copyright
issue here, both are HMV copyrighted. I have the LP, and both versions are
present on it. The difference in rendition is because here Rakhee is happy
and that shows in the singing, The pain she suffers later reflects in the
longer version, which I feel is a classic.

Bostonite1985 on Thursday, July 12, 2012 A man in a double piece suit in love with a woman with a double plait hair style on a hot sunny day. Something like this will happen only in 1970s India. Thank God, only the music has passed the test of time.
TheTickleguy on Monday, July 16, 2012 One of Panchamda's most melodious creations, certainly a masterstoke. We don't have composers these days to create gems like this.
Ajay Surkar on Saturday, December 15, 2012 the song i like
abhijeet pendharkar on Friday, February 08, 2013 Not a big fan of Lata- but then RD makes everyone sound great!!

Sanjay Phanshikar on Monday, February 18, 2013 what a beautiful song... i would have listened it so many times.. but still
love it..
Dinesh kumar on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 The other version has wonderful tabla performance which makes me like that
song even more.
tamalster on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 The kind of songs the great great R D Burman has made Lataji sing is mind
boggling. In my mind most of Lataji's finest songs have been composed by
the SD and RD duo. Yes there was Madan Mohan, Shankar Jaikishen, Salil
Chowdhury etc who gave fabulous music for Lataji. But the Burmans just
outshone the rest.
Mina kaz on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 '' aanchal na chhode mera ,pagal hue hai pawan '' beautiful song to make a
