durlabh kolhe on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 mind refreshing evergreen song.
858bogus on Monday, January 04, 2010 Mohammed Rafi is great and music director of this song if I am not wrong its S.D.Burman. The thing is melodies like this are not at all heard now a days. In those time all ustaads of music use to sing now among them only Manna Dey is left. THE LAST LIVING LEGEND.
Mulakush on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 If there is demand, good music is written as fans are willing to pay for
it. I guess, those of us who like such music are a dying breed with
thinning numbers. And so are the artists who can create it. Sigh!
scir 91 on Monday, January 18, 2010 i used to sing this as a kid in bombay haha
xAmarMx on Monday, February 01, 2010 love this song haha johnny rules
Moti Lalwani on Thursday, February 11, 2010 RDB did not compose this song. In his biography 'Ten Years with Guru Dutt'
Abrar Alvi has said that Guru Dutt wanted SDB to copy a tune from the 78
RPM record brought by him from his foreign trip, of the film 'Harry Black
and the Tiger'. SDB resisted but finally gave in, and, keeping the Mukhda
same, changed rest of the tune. The Producer of 'Harry Black' later when
heard 'Sar Jo Tera Chakraye', not only could not recognise the tune from
his own film, but went on to praise SDB's music.
Moti Lalwani on Thursday, February 11, 2010 I don't believe it. Please tell us your source.
Moti Lalwani on Thursday, February 11, 2010 Do u understand the lyrics?
Moti Lalwani on Thursday, February 11, 2010 RD Burman did not compose this tune. Read my comments above of how this
song was made by SDB.
ddaynyc on Thursday, February 11, 2010 I understand he's trying to sell his ability to be a good masseuse, and
that he's basically saying "my massage is the very very best," but I could
be very very wrong. And other than that I have no idea.
Aimen Shah on Friday, February 19, 2010 undoubtedly, this song deserves every ounce of praise written here, and
more.. the sad thing is, they have remade this song for a new Indian movie,
titled Road Movie, starring Abhay Deol.. and even though i dont mind, after
all, they are using their own songs, it is upsetting to hear the new
version :( the happy thing is, M. Rafi rocks and will always live in our
minds and hearts and ears! :D
Aimen Shah on Friday, February 19, 2010 P.S. btw, S.D. Burman was a musical maestro.. so was his son, but parallels
cant be drawn due to differences in eras and genres.. :)
Mandeep Singh on Friday, March 05, 2010 Literal Translation " If Your head is spinning"... but it means if u are
having a headache or are feeling blue come and njoy a oil mssage on your
head..".
