Menghanimp on Thursday, January 01, 2009 These old songs are excellent vs garbage being made now. People listen to
these oldies.
gthotshot on Wednesday, January 07, 2009 Exactly, I really don't know what they're making these days. At least come
out with the traditional love songs with tones like these, but its a whole
different game nowadays...
tamstera on Sunday, January 11, 2009 omg i think the same the songs bering made=raciest and the odie songs= very peaceful and sweet
The Sparkling Diva on Friday, January 16, 2009 It depends on which movies. So many movies are made in Bollywood these days
that of course a majority of them STINK - plot wise and musically. But
there are still some excellent songs that come from newer films. Look at
Ajab Si from Om Shanti Om and Kehta Hai Baabul from Baabul. Om Shanti Om
may not be a movie that stands the test of time, but the songs is very
moving. That song from Baabul makes me cry every time I hear it because it
reminds me of the love my father and I have.

akiripaka on Thursday, March 12, 2009 So what is the difference between SOR and SHOR? :o)
dartdev on Saturday, March 14, 2009 Shor is noise, sor - have no idea
SILVER MERMAID on Saturday, March 14, 2009 well, shor is in pure hindi and people from rural areas say sor...he is
from rural area so he's trying to teach her 'sor' and she speaks pure hindi
so she says 'shor' thats the joke there. its cute... full of innocence :)

hasmukh95 on Friday, March 27, 2009 How many of our present day songs will be heard 40 years from now.. very very few or none,,,,,,,,,,,,, this song has stood the test of time and generations!
A Prasad on Sunday, March 29, 2009 well u cant say none, there are many songs in the last few years that have
stood out and deserve to be played in the future (sonu nigam/udit narayan
types of songs)
KiranGopalAshtekar on Wednesday, April 01, 2009 Hey, I thought this was understood by everybody ! Literally, both mean the
same thing, but not literarily ! 'Sor' has melody in it, 'Shor' is prose
and hasn't the and the educated girl thinks Sunil Dutt's character doesn't
know that the pure Hindi is shor. But, just try singing it as 'Shor'! You
will find that literally the word has SHOR in it, that is, cacophony in the
very sound of it.
KiranGopalAshtekar on Wednesday, April 01, 2009 It is not a question of rural versus urban but which word fits the spirit
of the whole composition. This interaction between the guru and learner is
a beautiful beginning to the whole song ! What Osho would call 'the juice'
is missing in the word shor and it is very much there in 'sor' . If you
examine poetry with that angle, in any language, you will find many such
subtle distinctions, as to why the poet chooses one word and not another.
akiripaka on Thursday, April 02, 2009 Yes, but not everybody speaks and understands Hindi.
ORACHIO101 on Monday, April 06, 2009 The music by Laxmikant-Pyarelal is perfect, especially at the end of the
song. Keeps me humming the tune.
