Mirzaji it is true that one music piece from this song was used by shankar
jaikishan in latas song jiya beqarar hain.Ironically Bhagatram used to play
violin in shankar jaikishan's orchestra in his last days. Harish

Mesmerizing voice. Her eyes may have looted a lot of hearts but I have lost
my heart to her voice. Perhaps I will be listening to this voice till
eternity. Thanks for sharing song. I wish some one will upload more songs
of Pyar Ki Jeet.

agree with all. Overhelming childhood memmories. Music piece is same to jiya bekarar hai from Barsat may be because I heard MDs SJ were with Husnalal Bhagatram earlier

This was the theme song for a certain Hindi program at one time at Radio
Ceylon.

lata old songs are not running

peddammayi on Sunday, May 16, 2010
This song sends the shivers in my spine even today.
because when I used to walk to elementary school 'sangeet sarita' was a safe time to leave home but if the old songs start on 'vividh Bharati' i am late fpor school.
The pace of walk or run changed with the music being played as every home on the way to school was tuned to 'vividh Bharati'
aah the days!

thanks imirza for this song

The name of the music director is wrongly spelt - It is Husnlal Bhagatram -
a handsome, very handsome, person who was forced by circumstances to leave
Bombay at the peak of his career

IMIRZA777 on Sunday, July 11, 2010
@bdgogia Thanks for the correction.

bd gogia on Sunday, July 11, 2010
@amrutvani There seems to be some confusion - play violin in. in his
last days - someone who has known him says he was in Delhi being forced to
leave Bombay and used to teach sitar.

a untrained singer in music, who accepts herself yet she supercedes others
with her honey voice. thank you mirza saheb

SPChitale on Sunday, December 19, 2010
I. /mirza is very right this is perhaps because I have read somewheren that SJ were HB.s asssistants earlier

There is a duet sung by Suraiya and Tilat Ker kay solah mein singhar ho kay
doli mein sawar jaoon saajan kay dwar which I liked in my school days. I
have not heard it since then .Can anyone upload it

Einstein Wallah on Wednesday, February 13, 2013
I am curious about your comment. Your comment makes it sound as if Husnlal
Bhagatram were a single person but the entry for Husnlal Bhagatram in
wikipedia says they were a duo like Shankar Jaikishan and in fact started
the duo system. Also no information about them being forced to leave is
there. Would you care to give more information about it? We in present time
think that olden times were better times but misfortunes used to happen to
good people in olden times too.

1.Husnalal Bhagatram were the younger brothers of legendary composer Pt
Amar Nath. 2. Husnalal was the youngest, who trained Shanker (of Shaker
Jaikishan duo) as a tabla and dholak player. 3. It is amazing that pic of
Waheeda Rehman appears here-in above, as against Suraiya.

I have seen the query of einsteinwallah 2 regarding Husnlal Bhagatram, but
my response to him was returned undelivered. But I find sufficient details
here about this duo.
