Comments for song "Vari Jaun"
manish bang on Saturday, July 14, 2012 Interesting!!!! Quality of songs is good in this season... Hoping for many
more such performances...
Anshul Saini on Saturday, July 14, 2012 Soulful.
pammi49 on Saturday, July 14, 2012 So nice music & awesome lyrics
innotech001 on Saturday, July 14, 2012 hit the "Like" button half-way through, couldn't hold :)
Shyam Madhavan on Sunday, July 15, 2012 the female portion destroyed the song
Shyam Madhavan on Sunday, July 15, 2012 Lala saab and Balabhaskar were awesome
Kabla21 on Sunday, July 15, 2012 Oh..the jazz part was so unexpected.Its giving me shivers..damn good !
gigi on Sunday, July 15, 2012 amazing composition..just awsome job coke studio
dancearun on Sunday, July 15, 2012 gr8 music !... though i would have loved to see this as two separate songs,
merging two styles was kinda un-necessary i think
Saurabh Lalwani on Sunday, July 15, 2012 Absolutely fresh piece, never heard such a stupendous fusion before.
Perfect arrangement, percussions are beautiful and go with the flow and
feel of the song. The piano going off-scale suddenly is pretty good. Hats
off to the composer and the band (especially the Violinist and the female
singer... :))
innotech001 on Sunday, July 15, 2012 I think that Jazz portion works really well, for one it was short &
unexpected - it didn't have lengthy English lyrics, that way she only adds
a beautiful contrast to the overall mood of the song, loved it :)
innotech001 on Sunday, July 15, 2012 The violinist Balabhaskar is a wonderful composer as well, Google
"balabhaskar wiki", he's composed few hit albums in Malayalam albums &
movies, he's also a well known fusion artist
Ratul Chakraborty on Monday, July 16, 2012 Suman Sridhar and that attempted Jazz departure pretty much killed the mood
of the song. Was really enjoying it before all the weird screaming started
Vishwas Sharma on Monday, July 16, 2012 kuch bhi chal raha hai .. Coke studio india flop kyu ho raha hai no body
need to look any further.. we want to here folk singer and read what he
meant .. kyu suna rahe ho yeh shor
Satish Suggala on Monday, July 16, 2012 The track ends at 2:56 for me.
2000swot on Monday, July 16, 2012 can any one tell me where i listen this folk song without those Jazz
nonsense?
Umesh Nawathe on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 I have listened first 3 mins almost 50 times till now :D awesome!!!
Swapnil Pagare on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 Nice song until the female part started..shocking especially between 4.25
to 4.46...it was not needed...I understand they wanted to something
versatile but it should be lined up with the main theme of the song but it
'F'ailed in this one...anyways, I can live with piano piece, Moora Lala and
Balabhaskar who were just awesome...
prometheanSoul on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 Coke studio..ummmm No..Joke studio
necromantsuri1 on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 Musically, i think it was a fantastic progression into the 3rd minute. Not
a fan of the artist though
Harsh Shah on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 Overall nice composition. Vari jaaoon part and Violin with Jazz.. Good work
2000swot on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 Please bring more from "Mooralala" without that jazz nonsense!
debrup majumdar on Thursday, July 19, 2012 upto 3:00 song is amazing.. african blah blah was completely unnecessary
jewelsnpalaces1 on Friday, July 20, 2012 4:20 to 4:50...constipated face!! :-p
mdirtydogg on Friday, July 20, 2012 Seguing from one song to another does not make music fusion. Two songs do
not make one song.
mdirtydogg on Friday, July 20, 2012 BTW, the two different singers do not speak of the same emotions in two
different styles. They sing of two completely different emotion, one is
spiritual and the other romance.
Yogendra Meena on Friday, July 20, 2012 for those who want to see the real difference between the two .. the
indian original version posted on you tube as "vari jau part2"and the one
above
0x0MuGeN0x0 on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 Oh btw, listen to this for some brilliant Jazz Fusion!! watch?v=3lep43vaSDE
acdcparry on Monday, August 06, 2012 its good mixture of funk, jazz, bhajan...great experiment!!! loved the
whole song..
Sagar Vibhute on Sunday, August 12, 2012 There is a thin line between being experimental and expressive AND being a
total careless freak. Song destroyed. Sad.
Ambika Sukla on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 I loved the second part too..nice foray into reggae breaking into love jazz
piano followed by a magnificent crescendo, and I especially love the part
where Moora gets back at a much higher pitch (sent shivers down)...and
Suman's piece at the end is get..awesome musical work overall..suman's
piece was great too...guess mixing bhajan with a sensous song is not a good
idea, but was nevertheless a very nice musical offering
Askdapankaz on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 and one more thing..If you are human then I would prefer 'African
Guerrillas' any day! At least they are melodious.
Pankaj Molekhi on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 I plead guilty. That was a very absurd reaction from a disappointed
listner. I will delete this comment tonight. All I can say in my defence is
To Err is Human. Sorry, once again.
angel24111989 on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 You need to really stop comparing pak coke studio to this one. I do agree
the girl ruined it but theres no need to keep comparing with the other. If
you really find that one better then please continue to see their videos.
No need to bring negativity here.
Askdapankaz on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 No worries mate...we all do and say crazy things at times. I appreciate
your humility. It is a hallmark of a true music lover :)
Amit Khosla on Sunday, August 26, 2012 i dont agree on CS pak is better...plus its not your fault..you need to
grow musicaly for this kind of music. Guptaji aap kay bas ka nahin hai...
Askdapankaz on Sunday, August 26, 2012 Nicely put Amit :) This 'my way or no way' approach will be hindrance in
maturing as a music lover.
Pradeep Ullal on Saturday, September 01, 2012 Indian music is going through a testing phase. music industry bosses seem
to think they need to westernize in order to appeal to indian audiences.
Most bollywood songs have loads of english lyrics thrown in for effect. we
have introduced ghetto rap even in melodious raag based tracks out of sheer
insecurity. remember that the common man has no clue of his likes and
dislikes. they merely hum with whatever is thrown at them from popular
media like radio and tv and cinema.
Pradeep Ullal on Saturday, September 01, 2012 people may think its creative freedom but its lack of trust in our own
musical culture, capabilities and heritage. This lady's singing is
outrageous disregard for any sensibilities. genuinely talented singers are
languishing without work.
Pradeep Ullal on Saturday, September 01, 2012 we have witnessed over 20 years of reality shows with amazing singers who
remain unnoticed while nepotism rules our nation. we have singers like
suman representing MTV coke studio gives us enough reasons to believe how
low can we fall in our sensibilities. The previous edition of coke studio,
Leslie Lewis brought his own Besura/ off-key sounding daughter into the
limelight at the cost of making the show into a family business.
Pradeep Ullal on Saturday, September 01, 2012 The fact is that this world is ruled by the ignorant where people who
realize the truth are muted and voted out. Satymeva Jayate. thats all we
can hope for.
MrMalangii on Thursday, September 06, 2012 Happy Teachers day..Me Guru pe vari jaau re!!!!
pionyt on Sunday, September 09, 2012 ka kar rahi hai be ye ladki. Bhaag!
Lovekesh Chanana on Thursday, October 11, 2012 I listen to this song once everyday to pay my regards to great musicians
like Moora Lala...but sadly stop excatly after 3 minutes for the same
reasons as rightly explained my friends @2000swot and @Swapnil Pagare. What
surprises me is if we can notice it, why did not our composer friend Mr.
Hitesh Sonik did not notice this...come on man, you could have simply
edited this song to 3 minutes ;-)
Bhavesh Nandu on Sunday, December 02, 2012 hats off to son of kutch. ghani khamma bapu
discoguru on Thursday, December 20, 2012 Syncopation?
pankaj chugh on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 Kutchi's and Thari's of Gujarat represent folk culture of Sindh and Sindhis
, unko Ghani khama nai Jai jhulelal bolo !!
Bhavesh Nandu on Monday, December 31, 2012 are you sindhi ?
dhiraj salian on Monday, February 25, 2013 Suman...what are you smoking girl?? :-P Brilliant stuff!
Hitesh Mulani on Tuesday, March 05, 2013 For me, the song ends at 3:56. Though Suman was great till 4:00. I would
rather not have her in this song.
