didn't know him, but when we spent a rupee or two and watched this movie,
this became one of my all time favourites. I liked Jaya Bhaduri also. The
"sh..sh.." in contrast to the highly feminine voice of Lata was impressive.
We felt the long walk to the theatre was worth (to save busfare). The sharp
tones of the song denote creation by Rahul Dev Burman, one of my most loved
music directors.
