It was Dev Anand's older brother,Chetan who asked Ustad Akbar Ali to wing Jaidev as his assistant. After Aandhiyan, Chetan made him an independent MD in Anjali and Jori Ka Bhai. He struggled till Hum Dono 1962. After that, there was no looking back for him. He was a very close to friend to Madan Mohan.

If you possess all the 6 parts then it would be heaven-sent for us music fans. Best would be the original recording without any musical breaks. But EMI India destroyed the original audio tape on which this song was recorded. A mindless and tragic destruction of musical heritage.
