O Beloved, grant your vision, come,
Water, gentle; moon, my land, become.
I see you not, my love, my dear,
Lost, bewildered, consumed by fear.
Longing burns, a barren shore,
O Beloved, grant your vision, evermore.
Seeing clouds, I'm filled with dread,
Clouds I fear, the skies I've read.
O Shyam, clouds, my heart they bind,
Dark and yellow, the storm they find.

with Komal Dhaivat and not shudh Dhaivat, which marks the difference
between the Poorvi and the marwa thaats.
