Suresh Shenoy on Monday, August 27, 2012 I have heard many songs by Lata. This one is very different. The Bhava (mood) is condensed here, viraha; in Sanskrit grammar, it is Vipralambha sringar. In this song, the actress does not sing and Lata has to cover that also; which she did beautifully. One of the flawless songs of the singing sensation Lataji. The lyrics, of course provide perfect support. The music is apt for the mood. I had this in my cassette in 1982 still love it.
