There's not a single song of Meena Kapoor that I can easily leave without
multiple rounds of listening once it comes before me. Such is the
refreshing effect of her voice-- so sweet, pure and aromatic that one wants
to let one's entire being be drenched in it for a while. And it comes with
its unique, gentle vibrations akin to the emanations of a softly played
sitar--a consistent khanak of the most delicate and subtle kind. Simply
