I'm afraid Asha should have retired some years ago. She cannot sing like she used to. I heard her try and sing the songs of yester years - I felt embarrassed that she hadn't bowed out gracefully and left me with memories of her great singing. Like many greats, she had her day and should accept it. Even Lata can't hold a note like she used to and should retire so that her fans will remember her as the fantastic singer she once was and no longerr is.

a friend of mine is named monika and for her sweet 16 party we planned that
when she first enters the hall the song will be played. so as soon as she
stepped inside, the "monica oh my darling" part played.. it was cool lol.

Helen was the classic 'vamp' of all Hindi films - she allured and distracted the heroes with her song and dances usually in a cabaret set up. She never got between the hero and heroine though (as far as I know). She was too typecast in that role to break out.
