Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Site Aaj Tumhein Dekhe Bin Do Nainaa Rite Rite
Sita, Sita, Sita, today I see you,
Without you, my eyes are empty, empty, empty, Sita.
Oh, water, land, and all directions,
Oh, gardens, oh, trees and vines,
Tell me the way to my beloved,
Where is Sita hidden, show her to me.
Without life now, in this life of mine,
How do the moments pass, pass, pass, Sita, Sita, Sita?
The heart of the exiled Ram, torn, his throat filled with sorrow,
There, the Lord of Lanka, flew through the sky, carrying Sita.
Taking the chance, from that aerial chariot, Sita leapt down,
Jatayu, on his wings, brought her down at that very moment.
For Sita, the servant of Rama stood firm,
But Jatayu's wings were cut by the sword.
On the earth, Jatayu lay unconscious,
Ravana flew in the sky, and Ram came,
Jatayu, whom his heart called out to,
Jatayu said, "Oh, Raghuvira,

Then Ram and Lakshman went to find Sita,

Lakshman was tossed in the blue sky,
The devotee of Ram, Hanuman, came and saved him.
Hanuman, the eternal servant of Ram's feet,
Came close to quench the thirst of ages.

Carrying Ram and Lakshman on his shoulders,
On the mountain he came, the sorrowful Bali,
He united with this Sugriva.
Because of Hanuman, then Sugriva's welfare was achieved,
With a single arrow, trees fell, then Bali's sacrifice happened.
Bali's sacrifice happened, victory to Shri Ramachandra.
Then they all departed, and knew the glory of Ram,
Hanuman asked Ram for a sign of him,
Lord Ram, giving a ring, greeted him.
Fly, fly, Bajrang Bali, Mother Sita calls for you,
