Lyrics of Ye Nanha Sa Musafir -

ye kya ho gaya tinku kho gaya
ye kya ho gaya tinku kho gaya
apne sath usko koi anjaan le gaya
chhod ke raste mein uska saman le gaya
lut ke chhote se dil ke arman le gaya
dekar dhokha pyar se
saat samndar paar se chhod ke pardesh ko
tinku chala apne desh ko

ek to the sanjog duje jag ke log
logo ne ye kam kiya haye kitne paap ka
bhukha pyara tinku ladla maa baap ka
chhote se hatho se pakde daman aapka
maange bhikh pukar se
unko kya malum yahi hai wo majlul
jiska janmdin wo manane aaye
apne dekho banke yu begane aaye hai
tinku ko tinku kiyaad dilane aaye hai
yado ke tyauhar se
saat samndar paar se chhod ke pardesh ko
tinku chala apne desh ko

begano ka pyar do din ki bahar
apni god bhari to gair ki mamta mar gayi
jin aankho mein pyar tha un mein nafart bhar gayi
tinku itni jor se roya duniya dar gayi
ud gaya panchhi daar se haye kho gaya
tinku so gaya tinku so gaya
tinku so gaya tinku so gaya
tinku jaag uthe maange ye dua sare
lekin jisko raam bachaye
kaun use maare teer se talwar se

Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Ye Nanha Sa Musafir
A tiny traveler, lest he be lost,
Pray this journey arrives at no cost.
Across seven seas, he left foreign lands,
Tinku journeyed home, by destiny's hands.
Across seven seas,
Tinku journeyed home.

What has become? Tinku is gone,
What has become? Tinku's withdrawn.
An unknown presence, stole him away,
Leaving his belongings, in disarray.
Robbing his heart of youthful day,
Betraying love's dawn.
Across seven seas, he left foreign lands,
Tinku journeyed home.

First, fate's cruel design, then the world's harsh stare,
A deed of sin, beyond compare.
Tinku, beloved, hungry, and bare,
Clutching your skirts, in desperate prayer.
Begging for solace.
They knew not, this lost and lonely soul,
Whose birthday they'd come to extol.
Strangers they came, to take their toll,
To awaken memories, in their role,
A festival of woes.
Across seven seas, he left foreign lands,
Tinku journeyed home.

Alien love, a fleeting bloom,
Their laps now filled, another's womb,
The affection that bloomed, now filled with gloom.
Love turned to hate, in every room,
Tinku's cries, the world consumed.
The bird took flight, from the bough's hold,
Tinku is gone, forever cold,
Tinku sleeps now, a story told.
Tinku, awaken, let our prayers unfold,
But whom God protects,
Who can slay with blade of sword, or arrow's hold.
