and rendition by lata ji are all perfect and inspite of nargis getting a
national award and my complete understanding of the director's intention of
showing a schizophrenic character thru her acting prowess i still find that
the picturisation is not upto the mark and not as good as the superb song.
but it is always perfect to listen to. thanks.
Mani Menon on Friday, January 25, 2013 I love both the versions of this song. 'Raat aur Din' was a fitting
swansong for Nargis. Unfortunately the concept of a split personality was
not explained very well in the movie so many mistook it for a 'bhoot-preth'
movie. And it bombed at the box office. Really sad as not only Nargis but
everyone else had put in their best in this movie. I hope someone remakes
this movie. I'm sure it'll fare well.

Dil..." is lip synced by Laxmi Chhaya in the movie? She plays the role of a
Westernised Anglo Indian neighbour of a young Nargis and is a cause for
Nargis developing a split personality.
