Lyrics of Dhanno Ki Aankhon Me Hai Raat Ka Suramaa - धन्नो की आँखों में है रात का सुरमा
dhanno ki aankho me hai raat kaa surmaa
aur chaand kaa chumma
are dhanno ki aankho me hai raat kaa surmaa
aur chaand kaa chumma
ho sahar bhi tere binaa raat lage
chhala pade aag jaise chaand pe jo haath lage
sahar bhi tere binaa raat lage
chhala pade aag jaise chaand pe jo haath lage
dhanno kaa gussaa hai ek tir kaa chumma
aur chaand kaa chumma
dhanno ki aankho me hai raat kaa surmaa
aur chaand kaa chumma
ho dhanno tujhe khwaab me dekhaa hai
lailaa ki hir ki kitaab me dekhaa hai
dhanno tujhe khwaab me dekhaa hai
lailaa ki hir ki kitaab me dekhaa hai
dhanno ki aankho me hai nur kaa surmaa
aur chaand kaa chumma
dhanno ki aankho me hai raat kaa surmaa
aur chaand kaa chumma

drsumantr on Sunday, September 02, 2007 People, Thanks for this song !!! I have been searching for this song for a long time. One thing is common in all us Indians , OUR GOLD is OUR GOLD !!! No caste, No Religion, No Politics can do us Apart , when it comes to Music. More Over Golden Music of the Past Era.
Thanks Once again.
bhartigahtori on Monday, October 25, 2010 Brilliant..excellent piece of music..R.D Burman always gave stress to a specific tune...or voice...be it of an instrument, surrounding music.like in this the sound related to a moving train ..his work had been very experimental and with positive results
alokve on Friday, May 08, 2009 amazing, really unbelievable rendering of the song. when RD stretches on 'ho..' actually he transposes by a note a or two and by the time 'ho..' ends he comes back to the starting tune. This part has always amazed me. Nobody can do justice to this song.other than RD himself
shailesh19 on Saturday, September 22, 2007 The song of my heart; I think this song is best of Burman's voice...the music and the use of instrument is incredible; in an interview Burman told that he used a gadget for this song brought from America..great guy left gems for Indians...thanks for posting this...
