generation old partition and itsmanifestations, like terrorism etc. We
remain close, but only in enmity and combat, everytime we try to build
something up, politicians and terrorists spoil'em, only because that's not
profitable to them, not us...but i hope, and millions like me do on both
sides of the border,...someday, maybe 100 years from now, 200
years?...someday, i hope we will be together...yes...not 2mrrw; but
someday.

This song makes you feel the pain all those people went through...I believe
music is a better way of taking a step towards friedship then sports. Next
season of coke studio with india and pak together is what i would dream of.

culture now. Your partly right about the concept of the show. It's not only
about bringing out those gems but also, in a way, to move Indian music
forward. A show like this should expose us to the pulse of an evolving
India and challenge the way we think, feel and interpret music. Having many
producers offers a larger sample size of that pulse, which in my opinion is
what the Indian version of the show is evolving into.

after the partition of India. Culturally, both the countries are extremely
similar. This song is the guy's call to the girl. He asks her that are
festivals celebrated in the same way in the other country? Does the wind
whistle through the leaves the same way in the other country? Are you told
stories about the same folk legends that we are told? The subtle meaning is
that she has never replied since the partition.
