Lyrics of Jalte Hai Jiske Liye, Teri Aankho Ke Diye -

jalte hai jiske liye, teri aankho ke diye
dhundh laaya hun vahi, geet main tere liye
jalte hai jiske liye
jalte hai jiske liye, teri aankho ke diye
dhundh laaya hun vahi, geet main tere liye
jalte hai jiske liye

dard banke jo mere dil me rahaa dhal na saka
jaadu banke teri aankho me rukaa chal na saka
dard banke jo mere dil me rahaa dhal na saka
jaadu banke teri aankho me rukaa chal na saka
aaj laayaa hun vahi geet mai tere liye
jalte hai jiske liye

jalte hai jiske liye

yun hi aawara phirega ye teri zulfo ke tale
yun hi aawara phirega ye teri zulfo ke tale
gaaye jaaugaa yahi geet mai tere liye
jalte hai jiske liye, teri aankho ke diye
dhundh laaya hun vahi, geet main tere liye
jalte hai jiske liye

Jalte hain jiske liye teri aakhon ke diye,
dhoond laya hoon wahi geet main tere liye,
jalte hain ...

gungunaunga yehi geet main tere liye,
jalte hain ...

yunhi awara phirega yeh teri zulfon ke tale,
gaye jaunga yehi geet main tere liye,
jalte hain ...

Dear Rumhale, as we say here, Pleasure is mine. Listening to Talat & Rafi
back to back, one can notice the difference. These artists cannot be
compared. It is just Talat snatches the heart like Aztecs did to their
captives when they were still alive (I sorry to example those barbarians);
but don't we call our sweetheart a cruel (Zaalim) one 1000's of times.

There is a vulnerability about Talat's voice.. which is not infalliable.. and hence a very tangible human quality.. which connects.. and then there is a timelessness.. and the voice quiver is his signature.. my all time favourite along with mannadey and the earlier rafi.. ofcourse kishore and mukesh too.. but talat i love
