Lyrics of Jivan Jyoti Bhujti Jaye - जीवन ज्योति बुझती जाये
jivan jyoti bhujti jaye
tujh bin kaun jagaye tujh bin kaun jagaye
prabhu ji prabhu ji tujh bin kaun jagaye
charo aur chaya andhiyara
sujhat nahi dur kinara
charo aur chaya andhiyara
sujt nahi dur kinara
tera hi hai ek sahara tera hi hai ek sahara
tujh bin kaun sujhaye tujh bin kaun sujhaye
prabhu ji prabhu ji tujh bin kaun sujhaye
dukh aaye parvah nahi hai
sukh pane ki chah nahi hai dukh aaye
mai murkh manjil ko dhundhu
mai murkh manjil ko dhundhu
tujh bin kaun bataye
tujh bin kaun bataye
parbhu ji parbhu ji
tujh bin kaun bataye
uljhe hai jag uch-nich ki uljhan me
uch-nich ki uljhan me
bolo kaise chain mile fir jivan me
chain mile fir jivan me
bani hamari bigad rahi hai
bani hamari bigad rahi hai
tujh bin kaun banaye tujh bin kaun banaye
parbhu ji parbhu ji tujh bin kaun banaye

rumahale on Friday, August 10, 2012 Really precious upload for beautiful singing by Ameerbai who had great
talent in classical and other singing. I have always adored her songs, most
of which were heard on radio programmes. Interestingly, I read few months
ago that she is from our Karnataka State (the name mentions it as
Karnatakai) - being the native of Bilgi, Bagalkote District of the State.
Thank you for excellent video presentation.
Priya MyMusicalHeaven on Tuesday, March 05, 2013 "Uljhe hain jab unch neech ki uljhan mein, bolo kaise chain mile phir
jeevan mein" Although these lyrics were penned around 1948, sixty five
years later, regrettably, we still see situations in our societies when
these words come true. Amirbai Karnataki's (of the 'Kismet' and 'Ratan'
fame) plaintive rendition tugs at the heart. Thanks for sharing this rare
bhajan from the bygone era, BharatGulji.

Priya MyMusicalHeaven on Tuesday, March 05, 2013 Indeed, the bhajan is moving. AK's rendition is soulful (an overused term),
however, there's also something about her voice, hard for me to explain.
filled with pathos, yet comforting. Thanks again. Best.
Bharat Gul on Thursday, August 09, 2012 Another precious Amirbai song-- moving and sweet to its core. Thanks, Ajay.
