Bharat Gul on Monday, September 12, 2011 This is a marvelous MR song, but I intensely dislike the riksha powered by
humans as beasts of burden , though the bicycle riksha is a bit-- only a
bit-- more dignified. This inhumane conveyance was invented in Japan. In
Japanese it's called jinrikisha "human-power-vehicle," but nowadays it's
only used to give a taste of the past to tourists and to carry elegant
geisha around( i witnessed these uses in Tokyo and Kamakura). Thanks, Yuan.
