Lyrics of Man Re Na Gham Kariye - मन रे ना गम करिये
o man re na gham kariye aansu banege sitare
zudai me dil ke sahare
o man re na gham kariye aansu banege sitare
zudai me dil ke sahare
bichhadke bhi humse jaha bhi rahe
wo rahenge hamare
o man re na gham kariye aansu banege sitare
zudai me dil ke sahare
o jidhar se wo jaye aakash pairo me kaliya bichha de
jaha rat ho koi chhupke se raho pe dipak jala de
jo raho phule to manjil unko pukare
o man re na gham kariye aansu banege
sitare zudai me dil ke sahare
gira hai andhera to jagmag sunhala savera bhi hoga
bahkte chaman me mahkti baharo ka savera bhi hoga
gira hai andhera to jagmag sunhala savera bhi hoga
bahkte chaman me mahkti baharo ka savera bhi hoga
jo lauti hai sanse to lautenge din bhi hamare
jo lauti hai sanse to lautenge din bhi hamare
o man re na gham kariye aansu banege sitare
zudai me dil ke sahare

Sheila Ramani, Kanhaiyalal, Achala Sachdev, Noor, Mehmood Rare and
beautiful song by Lata Mangeshkar on Sheila Ramani, to the brilliant music
by Salil Choudhary; Shailendra providing meaningful lyrics as always. As
BharatGul ji expresses, it is sensitive. I was not familiar with this song.
Thanks for excellent rare video presentation.
Bharat Gul on Saturday, February 18, 2012 When Lataji sings such songs, hope may be re-kindled in every despondent
listener's heart. "O, o man re, na gham kar yeh aansoon baneinge sitare."
Everyone in a down mood can at least find some momentary solace in Lataji's
voice, an amrit-filled vessel of reassurance unequaled in its power. Nice
to see beautiful Sheila Ramani enacting this sensitive song. I have
probably heard it after more than five decades today.Thank you.

nandu1f on Tuesday, September 04, 2012 This is the first song done on Sheila Ramani I have heard that is truly sad
- biraha song and she carries it well. Her romantic songs were always full
of charm, as in Taxi Driver or Funtoosh. In those movies, even in pensive
mood she is shown to shrug off or hide her own sorrow. A most sensuous
beauty of Hindi cinema. Thanks COS ji for a rare presentation.
