geet. Bhajans are devotional songs, Ghazals are romantic poems sung with
just a harmonium, tabla, sarangi, Sitar and at times santoor. This is a
Geet that's a romantic song. Yes it is one of my favs too. Asha taayee is
just outstanding in every song, ghazal or bhajan.

His style in this song is somewhat like that of OP Nayyar - perhaps Asha ji used the harkats taught to her by Nayyar sahib. This is an outstanding but underrated song nonetheless. Ashaji ka koee jawaab naheen!!
