This song certainly moves us to tears, and to our surprise leaves a very soothing, comforting effect in the end. Of course, the lyrics by Gulzar are so powerful, and the composition by Laxmikant Pyarelal is so moving.

song, lyrics which such a coldedness, razor sharp bitterness. Dont know
what Gulzar have inside him. And he does same in other movies like HU TU
TU, Maachis.
