Lyrics of O Dukhiya Jiyara Rote Naina - ओ दुखिया जियारा रोते नैना
o dukhiyaa jiyaara rote nainaa
dukhiyaa jiyaara rote nainaa
de re mai kaa bhaali
beqadaro se prit lagaake
baali umariyaa gavaali
baali umariyaa gavaali
o dukhiyaa jiyaara rote nainaa
dukhiyaa jiyaaraa
bhaati thi tumako more saiyya
bhaati thi tumako more saiyya
savan ki ghataa ye kaali
savan ki ghataa ye kaali
maine barakhaa ki rut raajaa
maine barakhaa ki rut raajaa
naino bich chhupaali, naino bich chhupaali
naino bich chhupaali, naino bich chhupaali
o dukhiyaa jiyaara rote nainaa
dukhiyaa jiyaara
tum to bhul gaye the hamako
ham bhi bhul gaye the
aankh se ik aansu mere gir ke
aankh se ik aansu mere gir ke
teri yaad sambhaali, teri yaad sambhaali
teri yaad sambhaali, teri yaad sambhaali
o dukhiyaa jiyaara rote nainaa
dukhiyaa jiyaara

Milahi1935 on Thursday, June 02, 2011 Khursheed makes every song a masterpiece. Listen to her range, she starts
high and goes higher. She had the highest range of that time and even now.
It is such a relief to hear khursheed take her voice up and up and put some
energy in film music. She is still unique. She made average music composers
great by making their ordinary music great by her expertise.
ved prakash on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 We forget the men behind the machines--the greatest ever music director
Khemchand Prakash (along with RC Boral), who is the MD for this song and
the film-Tansen and who brought Lata in lime light with "Ayega ane wala" in
Mahal and "Chanda re ja re jare" in Jiddi.

"65 years old song and still fresh."
Thank you for excellent presentation.
othomas44 on Monday, March 23, 2009 I was told by the folks of yesteryears that Khurshid was a rage after the release of "Tansen" in 1942. I saw the Movie in a theatre in chennai in 1965 and I was the youngest man in the audience and all the folks were turning and looking at me in surprise hehehe
