is known to give super-sweet melodies with minimum of instruments ... Today
we miss both of them, Kamal Dasgupta and Kanan Devi. ... What a void they

overshadowed by other singers like Lata Mangeshker and Asha Bhonsley,
though she could act well and sing well too. Same way Zubaida Begum's
Punjabi songs are classics and superb but she got overshadowed by Noor
Jahan as a singer.
