Devendra Singh on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 Excellent song. It is one of my all time favourites. Majrooh Sultanpuri, a
great lyricist, has written it in a very romantic mood and no doubt about
Khayyam's expertise in composing fabulously. Indeed, Rafi Sahib always
adopting lovely & sophisticated voice as needed & so has done Suman Jee in
this nice song. Shashi Jee & Nanda were a lovely pair in those days to
observe.
V. Siddhartha on Wednesday, April 08, 2009 Rafi and Suman, Shashi and Nanda, Khayyam and the lyricist whose name
escapes me now (Sahir?) all deserve credit for this tender love duet. Look
at how Shashi runs his finger over Nanda's nose and caresses her hair ,and
how she projects her bashful femininity in response. Very romantic, yet so
clean; therefore ,priceless.
nandu1f on Saturday, October 03, 2009 Romance well picturised. Nanda is excellent in her seductively shy manners.
Shashi is comfortable in his act unlike in some other song sequences when
he is asked to do like Shammi Kapoor. Above all Khayyam's magic makes a
superb melody. Unforgettable. Thanks, amitajai.
