Lyrics of Wo Na Aayenge Palat Kar -
agar is jaha ka malik kahi mil sake to puchhe
mili kaun si khata par hame is kadar sajaye
mili kaun si khata par hame is kadar sajaye
wo na aayenge palat kar unhe lakh ham bulaye
teri berukhi ke sadke
teri berukhi ke sadke meri jindagi ki khushiya
tu agar isi me khush hai to khushi se kar jafaye
tu agar isi me khush hai to khushi se kar jafaye
wo na aayenge palat kar unhe lakh ham bulaye
meri hasrato se keh do ki ye khwab bhul jaye

nandu1f on Friday, December 03, 2010 Another Devdas classic. Heart rending scene, when Devdas is seeing Chandramukhi last time ever, and both know that to be the case. Mubarak Begum's emotive singing here brings out all the turmoil in Chandramukhi's voice to express her true and slefless love for Devdas. I don't think any other movie like Bimal Roy's Devdas could be made for such a sad story as Devdas'. I wish someone would find and upload the video of this song from the movie. It is an unforgettable scene. Thanks Ajay ji.
2TKP on Tuesday, June 04, 2013 The first time Devdas was attempted on the silver screen, was in the silent
era. PC Barua and Jamna are the lead actors in this silent version produced
and directed by PC Barua. The in 1935, New Theatres recreated this magical
story in the timeless classic starring KL Saigal. It was made both in Hindi
& Bengali. This video clip is from the 1955 version by Bimal Roy, which is
the third version. I do not have specifics handy, but Devdas has been made
in other languages also.
