priyankvmehta on Sunday, October 12, 2008 God is the destination. Religions are different paths to reach this destination. But we travelers fight even while we are walking on different paths. How sad is that. Hope this ends and we all love and respect all religions.
arul1379 on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 good one Priyankvmehta...this song can easily melt anyone's heart, whatever be one's religion. This clearly shows there is something divinely (like music) that binds all of us irrespective of the race, religion, or whatever division that exists in this material world. I dream of a world where there is only love, people care for one another, live happily, and die peacefully. hats off to a great masterpiece of AR Rahman!

*shrugs* Like I said, people claim it to be bidah and I'm not stating that your belief is wrong or false.
However, Ziyarat is a fixture of Islam in the subcontinent. One does not worship a saint, but venerates them. The penitent asks the saint to ask God on their behalf. Why? Because God might listen to the saint, so full of good, over the sin-ridden penitent.
Also, people visit the graves of saints to honour them as people who were close to God.
theBollywoodFan on Saturday, January 03, 2009 Actually, it's only enforces bowing down to Allah. The Auliya who bow down
in the darbar, bow down to Allah! You can, of course, say this of any
mosque. Dargahs usually double as mosques.
