dalmadiwana on Saturday, December 22, 2012 Sorry, but you just screwed up the lyrics. I couldn't go beyond the mukhda.
dalmadiwana on Saturday, December 22, 2012 Dude , take it easy . What I said is the fact - what you are saying is your
interpretation. Check out lyrics of the original song and you will
appreciate what I said. O re piya ... haayaa not he .. why did he have to
screw it that way ? Sounded awful to me.

Sankalp Sarnobat on Monday, January 07, 2013 just gr8.. especially "o re piya" part of it :)
sanamo86 on Saturday, January 12, 2013 if it is his 1st attempt at singing O re Piya, why did he make the effort
of singing in a recording studio, use a HD video cam & not actually
rehearse the song, so that the vocals & pronouciations are correct. Rahat's
O re Piya might have taken several takes, Iv'e heared him singing 1 meter
from me & he sounded bloodly brilliant, note & pronounciation perfect. My
point is the singer is not bad, its just he hasnt got the ability to sing
indian classical, so he shouldnt have attempted this song
scahuja on Saturday, January 12, 2013 Compared to the original, pronunciation was slightly off, but overall, very
impressed. This is NOT an easy song to sing. Agreed that original artists
are always going to be hard to beat, but the mixture of east meets west is
amazing. In evaluating through watching multiple videos here, I will also
point out that Shankar is also an amazing artist. I don't know about you
guys, but I'm a subscriber! :-) Keep up the great work
kkrdgulzar on Saturday, January 12, 2013 All Those who are commenting on his Pronunciation- Save your comments. In
music there is no right, wrong, correct, incorrect, for pronunciation.
Listen to some of the greatest songs & notice they were not pronounced in
'correct' way. What is correct to you, is not necessarily correct, it is
just that you are 'used to it'. The word 'Shruti' in a lot of north Indian
languages is 'Sruti' - Wrong? not at all. - Enjoy the Shruti - if you know
what it means & you will not worry about pronunciation.
piyush bhandari on Saturday, January 12, 2013 Even d Indoclassic part had a bit influence of western classically trained
voice. Nice song overall . I have never seen someone singing Indian
classical and Western classic in one go and justifying both at the same
time apart from sonu nigam is a diffrent case.
Rakesh Nandi on Sunday, January 13, 2013 Some changes are acceptable but completely changing the language is
something very awkward. I am not commenting on his Singing, he is a
fantastic singer but his pronunciation is really very wrong. Just an
example, he is pronouncing "haye" as "hai", which is changing the meaning
of the sentence completely. little changes can be done unless that
doesn't affect the lyrics. Hope u understand. :)
Rihab Khan on Monday, January 14, 2013 Ur awesome tucker!
sanamo86 on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 I sgree with your point about singers having ranges, but please explain to
me If your a singer who hasnt got the ability to sing Indian classical and
its out of your vocal range, why attempt to sing it & most of all upload an
HD video of it. You are bound to attract crticism. Also pronunciation has
nothing to do with vocal range and that is something he messed up completely
